Buffon studies Serie B stars

Juventus are preparing for their first season in Serie B, so Gianluigi Buffon and Pavel Nedved admit they'll need to research this new reality.
"I'm not worried," insisted the world's most expensive goalkeeper. "I've won everything in my career, so challenging for the Serie B title will be a new experience."
However, Buffon concedes there are some new problems associated with the Bianconeri's demotion as a result of the Calciopoli scandal.
"I'm going to have to start studying again. I know by heart the power of Adriano's left foot, Luca Toni's movements and Pippo Inzaghi's dummies, but I'm in the dark when it comes to many of the current Serie B strikers. I'll try to learn fast, though."
The second tier of Italian football is also a novelty for 2003 Ballon d'Or winner Nedved, who postponed his retirement so he could help Juventus out of this situation, but he points out that the legal wrangling could be even more damaging if it drags on to the TAR tribunal.
"There's no point hiding the fact we're not relaxed," said the Czech star. "We don't know what our objectives are or who our opponents will be. It'll certainly be a struggle for Juve this season, but we're not afraid. Juventus won everything not because they were the best side, but due to their ability to keep calm under pressure."
One of the Bianconeri squad already has experience of Serie B, as Federico Balzaretti lived through it for three years with Torino.
"We'll have to get used to playing in boiling hot cauldrons," warned the defender. "Our players will be man-marked on the pitch and in the locker room. Whoever manages to beat Juventus will become a little hero. What's worse, when it comes to playing in Turin, our opponents will erect walls of eight or nine defenders."  :
They'll get a taste of those 'cauldrons' this evening when Juve travel to a packed-out Stadio San Paolo for the Coppa Italia showdown with Napoli.
