Blackburn 1-1 Tottenham
Tugay's sensational opener at Ewood Park was not enough to earn Blackburn a first win in six as both sides ended with 10 men in a hard-fought encounter. |

Striker bids dismissed Fri, Nov 17 2006 13:49
Glenn Roeder says no offers have come in for Albert Luque and insists the forward still has a future with Newcastle.
Luque has had a tough time since arriving from Deportivo La Coruna for £9.5million in August 2005 and has constantly been linked with a return to his homeland.
Fresh reports have suggested Barcelona are keen on the player and after Luque was quoted as saying he would be keen on such a switch, the rumour mill has gone into overdrive.
However, Roeder says no offers have come in and says the player still has a chance to establish himself with the Magpies.
"With Albert, it is the same with any player, the situation he finds himself in is that it is hard for him to get into the team at the moment," Roeder revealed. "If they are playing well and training well, there then is always the opportunity to get into the side.
"Albert definitely has that opportunity now, and with Shola due to have an operation next week, he can try and find a place in the starting XI. But that is up to Albert. As I have said before, all I can do is offer a player the stage to perform on.
"I think Albert would be the first to admit it has been difficult for him. There is no doubt about it that the Premiership is played at a constant high tempo, a tempo that is different to La Liga which he is used to. But the door is never closed on any player to force his way back in.
"We certainly don't have any information about clubs being interested in Albert and as far as I am concerned, he will carry on working hard every day and trying to force his way into the team."
mengong le si roeder nih, dah rumors barca nak beli bunyi baru terhegeh nak pujuk mamat ni |

Rival reveals Spurs star's exit plans Fri, Nov 17 2006 14:25
Portsmouth striker Kanu has revealed both he and Spurs ace Edgar Davids are keen to quit the Premiership for a move to Ajax.
The pair enjoyed a successful spell in Amsterdam during the mid-1990s, helping the Dutch club to European Cup glory in 1995. After rediscovering his goalscoring touch at Fratton Park, the Nigerian striker would welcome a return.
"My roots lie at Ajax," he told Voetbal Magazine. "At Ajax, I became an adult. I would really like to go back and Edgar (Davids) also wants to go to Ajax.
"I think that we can still have a beautiful time together. Therefore, if Ajax want to come and negotiate, (I say) gladly!
"I would get on the plane to Amsterdam with my wife and my child. I know Amsterdam very well. I am still there frequently, certainly at least once a month."
:hmm:halamak, striker ff haku nih:hmm: |
