SMRT launches Express Service 854E
SINGAPORE: The new Express Service 854E between Yishun and Bedok aims to cut travelling time by up to 20 percent.
SMRT said it would call only at selected stops of its parent bus service 854 and take alternative routes via the Seletar and Pan Island expressways. Fares for this new service range from S$1.56 to S$2.31 for payment by ez-link card and from S$1.60 to S$2.35 for payment by cash. Transfer rebates will be given if applicable, but concessionary travel does not apply. - CNA/so |

I think Spore has one of the best transport system...
Last time semasa hom kat Spore...nak g course venue...hom cuba nak naik bas.. hom tunggu le kat one of the bus stop...was trying to understand the instructions etc.. lelama hom takut lambat sampai....lelast hom naik teksi jerkk..

Memang Public Transport bagus, khidmat bas juga bagus semua hawa dingin, tapi cuma yang tak bagus naik "MRT" time peak hour pagi nak masuk office dah macam sardine dalam time asal boleh sumbat . Asal boleh sumbat nie satu hal , hah bila pegang tu railing ke handle bar air con satu-satu tu terbuka luas tak filter langsung macam-macam bau..... boleh pengsan beb! |

Selfish couple take up backseat in crowded bus
Site Coordinator Mohammed was disgusted at this couple who occupied the entire backseat of a crowded bus.
He snapped this photograph during the peak hour, slightly after 5pm, after he boarded the bus 30 travelling towards West Coast at Habourfront, near his workplace.
He was not exactly sure about when the incident occurred, but he could vaguely remember that it was either on March 27 or 28.
The 32-year-old told STOMP, 揑 feel very disgusted, because the bus was so crowded and yet no one could sit as the guy抯 leg was occupying the entire backseat. |

One STOMPer was left confused by this couple's act of public display of affection.
Lina was on board a bus when she came across this pair, with the woman sitting on her boyfriend's lap on the bus, leaving an empty seat next to them.
She noted that others on the bus looked uncomfortable by this scene as well.
She mused: "Are they being nice by letting others have one seat? Or are they doing this just as a public display of affection?"
