kalau kita tengok tadi malam, memang pening tengok currency dunia...EUR yang sakit dengan greece tu pun boleh naik , JPY naik, matawang EM turun semua...
pagi ini pun bursa saham China masih lagi sell off...

suami akak masih ada makcik di johor & pakcik di Selangor. Tapi sepupu sepupu tak begitu rapat. Lately about 4 years ago kita mula kerap ziarah makcik & pakcik suami akak. owong jhowo....
Keluarga belah akak semua in Singapore....

vietnam teruk juga ye..gitu gak thailand n the philippines
i think indo n msia having the worst currency issue among all south east asian nations..sbb our reserves hanya tinggal basically 7 - 7.5 from import
indo pun xmo peg rupiah kan? its too risky..maybe after september 2015, one country boleh try to peg their currency
being a commodity based country pastu rely on us n china as our market..mmg jd x menentu dibuatnya
tapi looking at the brighter side..murah matawang bermakna eksport akan meningkat, dan pengaliran wang dlm negara jadi byk bila consumption of local goods meningkat..takyah import2 brg sgt

NEW YORK (AFP) - All eyes are on the Asian markets on Tuesday (Aug 25) following a bruising day in global financial markets sparked by mounting worries over the Chinese economy.
US stocks finished sharply lower on Monday, but far above the session's floor. The broad-based S&P 500 tumbled 77.68 points (3.94 per cent) to 1,893.21, pushing the index into "correction" territory, normally defined as a loss of 10 per cent or more.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 588.47 (3.58 per cent) to 15,871.28, while the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite Index shed 179.79 (3.82 per cent) at 4,526.25.

Billions wiped out on Black Monday
Hundreds of billions of dollars were wiped off the value of global markets yesterday as panicked investors sent stock markets into a tailspin. The losses on Black Monday, as the carnage has been dubbed, have not been seen since the darkest days of the financial crisis, and the worst does not appear to be over, analysts warned.
Yesterday's falls on Asian and European markets were triggered by last Friday's fall in the Dow Jones Industrial Average, but there will likely be no respite today given the falls in the US.

vietnam tu masih lagi pakai fixed rate....mungkin USD transaction rendah, ke USD dipakai meluas kat sana...
sejak krisis 1998, bank pusat kita tak pernah lagi terapkan peg, intervene pun sekadar untuk menjinakkan volatility saje..
yang paling pening, CPO turun....
pekerja Indonesia kat Malaysia pun dah mulai mengeluh, ringgit turun terhadap rupiah..
nak beli barangan elektronik pun tangguh dulu, sampai rate stabil...

Janganlah korang NANGIS-NANGIS pasal kejatuhan RM to 3.26.
Semalam Index Dow Jones jatuh menjunam sampai 1085 mata
but close baik sikit cuma -500 mata jah. Tapi esok mungkin
jatuh lagi...................................BUT, berita baik untuk RM
yang jatuh ni, INDEX COMPOSIT BSKL tak jatuh menjunam macam
negara-negara lain. Sebaliknya sudah naik 12 points...........
