Mysterious Kyle
How would you feel if you open your eyes and find yourself in a strange place surrounded by people you do not know and a language that you do not comprehend? How would you react when you discover that you belong to a family that does not recognise you and everything else seems awkward?
Unlike other teenagers, Kyle XY possesses unusual characteristics. He does not understand everything that is taking place around him, including himself. When Kyle XY抯 foot bleeds non-stop after stepping on glass, he thinks that his body is leaking. He does not know the feeling of having a stomach ache, nor does he know the feeling of hunger.
Kyle XY revolves around a teenager found roaming aimlessly in a forest. He does not have a name or any knowledge of his background. Since he has no place to go, the police bring him to a juvenile hall and named him Kyle.
When an officer learns that Kyle does not have a bellybutton, he realises that there could be more strange things to this boy.
The series, which airs on TV3 starting Feb 1 at 9.30pm, stars Matt Dallas, Marguerite MacIntyre (Seinfeld, Judging Amy and Ally McBeal), Bruce Thomas (Legally Blonde, Enterprise and Providence), April Matson and Jean-Luc Bilodeau. |
