Heysel Stadium disaster
The Heysel Stadium disaster occurred due to football hooliganism in which a retaining wall of the Heysel Stadium in Brussels collapsed on May 29, 1985 during a football match between Liverpool F.C. from England and Juventus FC from Italy. 39 people were killed, mostly Italian Juventus fans. The match was the final of the 1985 European Cup tournament.
About an hour before the scheduled kick-off time, Liverpool fans breached a fence separating the two groups of supporters and charged. Juventus fans were forced to retreat, putting pressure on a dilapidated wall, which collapsed on top of them. The game was played despite the disaster. Liverpool was summarily banned from all European competitions for six years and all other English clubs were banned for five years.
The disaster has been called "the darkest hour in the history of the UEFA competitions."

malehnya aku nak update thread sebab hal2 tutup stadium ni :geram:
luckily STADIO OLIMPICO dah lulus piawaian baru tu... so juve kalau main home, supporters bole datang  :clap:
perkembangan terkini: FIGC dah luluskan the rebuilding of STADIO DELLE ALPI (dah lama tak sebut nama stadium ni)... nak buat entertainment centre yg bole digunakan setiap hari kat stadium ni.... tp restructuring work cuma akan mula kalau italy menang bidding untuk host euro 2012.. err.. kalau italy tak dpt jd host, aku rasa tak rebuild la kot sports complex tu... buat renovation biasa2 jer... |

juve last season juara serie A....
juve turun serie B sebab demoted after calciopoli scandal tu la katak (allegation of match fixing)... tu yg cannavaro, zlatan, vieira, zambrotta, thuram, capello (hahaha) dan sebagainya cabut club lain, takmo main serie B. star yg stay kat juve antaranya nedved, del piero, buffon, trezeguet..
btw masa start serie B dulu juve bottom of the table coz minus 17 point (-17)... sekarang ni dah top of the table..
kat serie A club2 mcm milan, lazio fiorentina tu pun semuanya start season diorang dgn negative points..
