This is a shot taken today while I was in a moving bus, through the dirty, tinted window. She happened to be the only subject in sight ;) Photos taken with a D70, using 18-70mm f/3.5-f/4.5.

Focal length: 70mm
ISO: 400
Shutter: 1/640, f/8

I was pretty impressed by how nice it turned out, as the bus was bumping along the road

Not much post processing apart from some color adjustments to balance out the tinted (and dirty!) window

Got one of the the first units in NZ and I have to say, this is an excellent lens! Sharp, sharp, sharp wide open all through the zoom range, but especially at 300mm! VR is very good and quiet, focus is very fast and smooth, and colours and contrast are very good. Useable on film and digital SLRs, when used with Nikon DX format digital SLRs is equivalent to 105-450mm.

The 70-300mm VR can challenge my 70-200mm f2.8 VR, except in very low light situations. Indoors and with high ISO, this lens performs very satisfactorily and I am very impressed with its results. At 1/3 the price of the 70-200mm f2.8 VR, this is a very worthwhile investment for any Nikon DSLR owner.

Compared to the excellent Canon 70-300mm f3.5-5.6 IS USM, this Nikon is equal in optics, with lighter weight (plastic body), larger filter thread (67mm) and more comfortable to handle. Lens mount is metal and it comes with a lens hood similar to the 70-200mm VR's. The Canon has a metal body and 58mm lens thread, with less to grip for a comofortable hold.

kalo beli digital camera, aku tgk optical zoom & image stabilizer.. pas tu tgk MP, & features2 lain cam movie mode, scenes mode, etc..  tapi teringin gak nak pakai digital SLR camera... nampak cam cool je.

Ni-MH (nickel-metal hydride battery) tu ada macam2 saiz. Siza AA pun ada & rechargeable.

Alkaline battery pulak yang cam brand Enegizer & Duracell tu. Pun ada byk size juga. Alkaline tak blh recharge.

Kalo pakai battery AA brand Eveready yang color merah hitam tu mmg takleh on la camera tu. Battery tu tak kuat. Tapi Eveready pun dah ada battery Alkaline sekarang

Canon IXUS IZOOM tu, kelemahan dia optical zoom dia tak tinggi sgt. so gambar kalo org tak reti amik selalu shaky jadik blur jek. kalo nak beli Canon, suggested beli yg Poer Shot yg Digital Ixus yg 60 ke 65 ke.. yg sewaktu dgnnye lah.. saya sendiri guna Power Shot Ixus 40.dah cun sgt dah gambar dia.lagipon kalo nak print cuma yg size 4R je..
masa mula2 nak beli, aim Lumix tp bila survey2 balik dan advise dr org kat kedai, finally beli Canon.tp mmg puas hati. kalo nak beli digicam ni belila dr brand2 yg mmg pakar dalam kamera ni i.e canon, olympus,nikon. sony, kamera dia cantik tp, ni bg saya la.. kualiti gambar dia tak berapa bagus. pastu plak biasala Sony product, mmg mahal dan aksesori dia pon mahal.

kalo nak tahu pasal digicam review kat sini. segala jenis mak nenek kamera ada kat sini. ni pon amik dr bod photography dulu ..  http://www.dpreview.com/

bulan lepas dah beli canon ixus 850is
tapi ingat nak sambar olympus lak
sbb olympus ada jenis water proof, bulan depan nak gi nyelam so better lagi pakai yg ni

lagi satu, olympus brand ada screen proctector, so kalau jatuh skrin susah nak pecah
lain2 brand screen jenis liquid, so x tahan lasak lah

olympus ada jenis shock proof dan water proof, so x perlu pakai housing kalau nk nyelam
hehehe

kalau ada forummer tau lagi, leh tambah

this one i stuju banget dgn you.
even masa survey dig camera, org panasonic pun kata kamera yg baik dr brand yg mmg pakar dlm kamera...., olympus, nikon, etc.
