Wenger ni memang suka pada player versatile, tu pasal setiap player muda yang dibeli mesti boleh main lebih dari satu posisi. masa dia beli Kolo Toure dari ASEC pun atas dasar dia boleh main CB dan RB. Kalau ikut dari Steve Rowley, Chief Scout Arsenal, dia kata Wenger meletakkan pemain yang boleh main lebih dari satu posisi sebagai asas utama untuk dia beli pemain. jarang dia beli pemain yang hanya tetap satu posisi. kalau tak silap aku, Denilson dan Alex Song datang hanya dengan pakej sebagai CM. tapi di Arsenal mereka di train untuk mencuba pelbagai posisi. tapi ada yang tak leh terima, contohnya si Gilberto, dia memang tak leh terima jadi CB.
macam Eboue, Sagna, Toure, Clichy, Gallas, Walcott, Van Persie, Eduardo, Fabregas, Rosicky, Diaby, Armand Traore, Aaron Ramsey, Carlos Vela memang dibeli dengan pakej versatility mereka.

ape plak gilberto xleh terima...die tu awal2 karier die main CB la...pastu baru die naik main midfield...coz die ni leh control game. same la cam demichelis of bayern. die CB tapi lame2 main DM. gilberto bukan xleh terima main CB, cuma die prefer main midfield...yg cakap die xsuka main CB is tabloid... |

Players ratings vs Bolton
Almunia - 7 - Did well when called into action. great save to deny Nolan n Riga. Still not confident dealing with set pieces.
Sagna - 6 - Caught once but recovered well. Didnt really show his real ability when switched to left (no overlappings at all).
Clichy - 6 - His usual performance. Unfortunate to get injured. Davies did won the ball, but his studs were on Gael's shin. Dats y Wenger's not really angry.
Toure - 6 - Nothing much really. No marauding up the field. But brilliant tackle to rob Gardner in d penalty box.
Gallas - 7 - At fault for mot marking Davies for the goal. But led the team from the back. Kalo nengok game tu, Bolton x attack our left side coz Sagna n Gallas was solid.
Denilson - 8 - MOTM imo. a bit jumpy in d 1st 15minutes. but started dominating the midfield. outshone fabregas in attack. 1 assist n 1 goal. terrific. the goal was thoroughly deserved.
Song - 7 - Really solid. He's similar to Petit. But still rough. nice shot at goal. Hit the post too! He n denilson should fight it out for the DM position.
Fabregas - 5 - Nothing really. No key passes, no setting up, no shots. Felt like he played as DM n Denilson as AM. but good job mopping up the field.
Eboue - 6 - Main kiri?? i think he was offside for d goal. starting to show his attacking prowes by getting into the box more often.
Bendtner - 7 - Brilliant ball control for his size. Has an eye for a pass (what a ball for adebayor dat hit the post). Good instinct to get in front of the defense for his goal (he was the one that started the move).
Adebayor - 7 - I'd give him 8 if he'd scored. But again, showed why Ferdinand acknowledges him as the hardest striker he's ever marked. Ade's everywhere, left,right, middle. Really tormented the defense. Unlucky not to score.
Subs:
Djourou - 6 - doesnt really do overlaps. But solid at the back. Bolton thought he's our weakest link so they attacked there. No prob at all.
Walcott - 7 - Changed the game instantly when he came on. Good vision to see Ade to set up the 3rd. Should've passed to Ade in d final minutes, but that shows he's getting more confident.
Ramsey - 6 - Not much really. Was sent in to congest the midfield n hold up play. One nice key pass though.
I noticed in d previous threads that some of u are dissing Gallas n Eboue in particular. hey, lets give them some credit eh? Its early season, so keep the knives n pitchforks until later kay...
Anyways, we came through the 'away period' with 7 points in 3 games. really good work from the team... |
