Menyumbat hatrick pertama sepanjang karier, Daniel Sturridge
mengungkapkan kebahagiaan dan harapannya.
Sebuah rekod baru dicipta Daniel Sturridge. Untuk kali pertama sepanjang kariernya, dia menyumbat tiga gol atau hatrick dalam satu perlawanan. Sturridge menjadi bintang kemenangan Liverpool ketika menang 3-1 atas Fulham di Craven Cottage. Disebabkan aksinya itu, dia terpilih sebagai pemain terbaik pilihan peminat.
"Saya gembira dengan hatrick pertama ini. Saya hanya berharap agar boleh menyumbat lebih banyak gol lagi," kata Sturridge selesai perlawanan.

Striker berusia 23 tahun itu juga memuji peranan Philippe Coutinho yang memberikan dua assist kepadanya. "Dia pemain hebat dengan kemampuan hantaran yang luar biasa. Saya mudah bermain dengannya," puji Sturridge.
Berkata mengenai perlawanan, dia mengakui menikmatinya. "Kami beraksi lebih baik pada babak kedua namun bukan bererti kami tidak bagus pada babak pertama. Kami hanya sedang membiasakan dengan formasi baru," ulasnya soal formasi 3-5-2 yang diterapkan manager Brendan Rodgers pada babak pertama.
Satu gol yang disumbatnya pada babak pertama mempunyai erti yang sangat penting. Tidak hanya bagi Liverpool kerana boleh menyamakan kedudukan. Malahan untuk dirinya sendiri .

Expect These Three Players At Liverpool Next Season!
Toby Alderweireld - The Belgian has been one of Rodgers’ most preferred replacements for the retiring Carragher in the centre back. The Ajax captain has had a tremendous season with the club and thus has attracted potential bidders from a number of top clubs. This season he has played in 44 matches across all competitions, displaying tremendous work rate. His contract with his current club expires in June, 2014 and that would certainly make Ajax sell him for a cut price. But if Liverpool delays this move too much, other clubs would snatch the player from under their nose, so they need to act fast.
Stefan de Vrij - With Martin Skrtel falling out of favour of Rodgers, Liverpool would need more than one centre backs in the upcoming transfer window. Their other target is Feyenoord player Stefan de Vrij who has also made his debut in the Dutch national team. After the arrival of Rodgers last January, it is but a rule in Liverpool that all the arrivals must be of a very tender age who can either serve the club for a long time or has a resale value. De Vrij caters exactly to that criterion, with his age being just 21. Thus he should be an ideal transfer for Rodgers who has been restrained by the management in his pursuit of Ashley Williams.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan - The Armenian footballer who plays for Shakthar, is keen on making a summer move to Liverpool. The prolific midfielder has scored 24 goals in 34 matches this season and Rodgers would be interested to add more power to his midfield. Rodgers has always stressed on the importance of Coutinho like players in the team and Mkhitaryan is much similar to the Brazilian who has done wonders for the Reds. But he would not come cheap with Shakhtar expected to quote a price in the range of £15m. |

Papadopoulos RUMOURS :
Papadopoulos under went a medical with #LFC after a 17m fee was agreed. But there is a issue with the knee so before any deal is done a further MRI scan needs to be done. Strength and conditioning team were not happy with his knee during the medical so a MRI has been ordered.
