Queenstown parking ok cuma keta byk. Klu tak dpt cari parking yg betul2 tengah bandar, cari yg jauh sikit agak keluar dekat dgn kawasan perumahan. Tp bandar Queenstown kecik tak besar pun. Klu parking keluar sikit pun tak jauh jln kaki msk ke town. Lbh kurang mcm dr Sg Wang/Bkt Bintang ke Imbi.

queenstown mmg tempat tourist so kereta mmg byk... tp sebab bandar dia within walking distance jer, so bole park kt luar town skit....kami dulu parking motorhome yg besar gedabak tu kt bukit bawah skit bangunan skyline...tempat yg org naik gondola main luge...betul2 depan tadika wakatipu...quite ample parking spaces there....

satu lagi pasal parking ni...kena peka signboard tempat parking...ada yg tulis nombor kt signbod... tu maksudnya masa maksimum yang dibenarkan parking kt situ... contoh 30... x bole parking lebih dari 30 minit kt situ... one more thing, alert signbod parking kt supermarket...ada yg siap tulih parking kt situ utk shoppers dia jer... kalu nak pi tempat lain, diharamkan parking situ... i perasan supermarket apa ntah yg betul2 depan kilang cadbury @ dunedin tu...

AirAsia plans return to New Zealand

RETURN FLIGHT: AirAsia X could be flying to Auckland within a year.
Airfares to Asia could fall sharply with Malaysian low-cost airline AirAsia X planning a return to New Zealand nearly three years after pulling its short-lived service between Christchurch and Kuala Lumpur.
AirAsia X acting chief executive Benyamin Ismail said the low cost carrier was planning to resume flights either later this year or early next year.
"New Zealand's in my plans. I'm just deciding whether I want to do it towards the end of the year - we have the capacity for it - or whether we want to do it at the start of next year," Ismail told CAPA Centre for Aviation.
CAPA analyst Brendan Sobie said he would expect AirAsia X to opt for a new service to Auckland rather than resuming flights to Christchurch, which was a smaller and more seasonal market.
Sobie said an Auckland service could lead to an oversupply of seats on the Kuala Lumpur to Auckland route which was already served by state-owned Malaysia Airlines.
That would lead to a significantly lower fares, Sobie said.
Auckland was an attractive market to AirAsia as it was relatively under-served and higher yielding compared to some of its existing medium-haul markets, he said.
There was a huge opportunity for AirAsia to stimulate demand in the New Zealand to Malaysia and Southeast Asia markets by offering lower fares than its competitors, he said.
There had been no low cost carrier option in the New Zealand to South East Asia market since Jetstar Airways last year withdrew its Auckland to Singapore service with connections to destinations throughout Southeast Asia on Jetstar Asia, Sobie said.
AirAsia would offer connections beyond Kuala Lumpur to dozens of points throughout the region that were already served by the new Singapore Airlines and Air New Zealand alliance via Singapore, Malaysia Airlines via Kuala Lumpur and Thai Airways via Bangkok, he said.
AirAsia X launched four-times weekly service to Christchurch in April 2011, but withdrew in May the following year as part of a strategic decision to stop flying loss making long-haul routes including to New Zealand and Europe in favour of focusing on its profitable Asian network and Australia.
The airline was required to reimburse Christchurch International Airport $400,000 in marketing costs for failing to maintain services for an agreed two year period.
Tourism New Zealand also spent about $950,000 promoting the airline, while Christchurch and Canterbury Tourism spent $117,000 promoting Canterbury and other South Island regions in Malaysia and Singapore.
AirAsia X attracted an estimated additional 24,000 tourists, mainly from Malaysia, in 2011 and injected $60 million into the South Island economy after the February 2011 earthquake.
The airline operates a fleet of A330-300 aircraft, which have 377 seats including 365 economy and 12 lie flat business class.
Auckland Airport spokeswoman Katie Moore said: "We are in discussions with a number of international airlines about the possibility of them flying to Auckland."

Aku pergi time ni March 2013. Musim autumn. Last year october aku pergi lg kedua kali. NZ ni mmg best. Aku nak berumah kat sana. Hirup udara segar, makan benda2 fresh. Badan pun sihat. Insya Allah klu ada duit nak repeat lg kali ketiga. Tak tau bila, tp niat dah ada. Minggu lepas baru blk dari Europe cuti sebulan ke Germany dan Swiss. Bulan depan ke Bandung/Jakarta bawa family pula. Lepas tu rest kejap baru plan nak gi mana pula.

Cantik NZ dgn Europe tak sama. Europe more to civilization dgn sejarah yg panjang sedangkan NZ ni lbh kpd nature dan fauna. So feel tu different sikit. Org kata org NZ ni org kampung @ peasant. Mmg betul tp depa baik hati dan peramah. Tak lokek menolong klu kita minta. Sedangkan org German ni agak kasar dan susah nak senyum walaupun dgn visitor. Agaknya karakter depa mmg begitu. Cengil. Org Swiss dgn NZ sama, ramah dan helpful.

Tour Milford Sound ko tak blh buat sendiri. Ko kena beli pakej juga. Nanti ko smp sana baru ko faham maksud aku. Apa yg blh ko buat, sewa keta drive ke sana. Nanti dr sana ko akan join tour dgn kapal durang.
