Question, siapa yg tau law or lawyer dekat sini, kalau case mcm couple nie yg tak ada official documentation, but based on txts conversation punya evidence, boleh jalan kah tindakan undang2? Mcm susah nak jalan sja case nie if drg report polis. Stu hal lagi polis nak selesaikan adoyai.. |

Oh soalan ni simple sahaja.
In general, text messages be it Whatsapp messages, WeChat messages or any form of electronic messages can be admissible as evidence. However, you have to ensure that:
1. there is no dispute as to the authenticity of the text message; and
2. no dispute as to the identity of the parties to the text conversation.
In addition, parties who intend to adduce text messages as evidence in their court cases should still ensure that:
1. the screenshots of their discussions contain the necessary information to identify the sender/recipient of the messages; and
2. they don't wholly rely on text messages to build their case especially when there are other documents available that would be able to conclusively prove the facts in issue.
