ok, guidelines tuk mereka2 yg nk beli android tablet, belila yg GPL compliant, bru ada continuity upgrade tuk android korang, kalu tk korang stuck kt froyo aje.

walaupun ada org bagi firmware hack froyo kt android tablet murah2 cina ni, tapi bukan 80% complete, ada byk missing sbb tkde kernel, cm xleh view video gune DSP punya CPU so xle view HD video lagi, bug sana sini.. cm rugi plak beli mahal2 tapi tkde kelansungan dlm produk

nnti keluar android 3.0, xle nk upgrade psl manufacture tk release source, rugi sgt,
lihat bwh ni senarai android tablet yg ikut GPL betul2..

CSL droidpad - xde source, tak ikut GPL , so hati2, klu aku salah betulkn.

oke gak tu.. kualiti creative tu setanding cm dell & lain2 jenama yg bsr, 3g xleh, cuma wifi je stkt ni. harga tu pun okay, tk silap 16gb tu 319 euro kalu ikut harga site dia. mgkin ada promotion kot kt sana.

lupe nk tulis -ve nye, stkat ni tkde kernel source dari creative, so creative ziio ni stuck kt Android 2.2 /2.1 je stkt ni, skrg dh mula Android 3.0 ( android 3 khas utk tablet), klu tk kisah ngn android 3 tkpe, leh je gune produk ni.

yg bhagian MID tu, jenama APad, dari china ni, dorg cuma rebranded, beli pukal dlm 50 biji leh cetak logo kompeni kt belakangnye.. dua Apad- rockchip ngn telechips, dua2 bukn GPL compliance , so produk ni stuck kt Android 1.5 ngn 2.1, dua2 tkde Adobe flashplayer.

mmg leh tgk youtube, tapi pkai apps youtube dari Android Market.

pndpt saya la.. jgn beli produk2 ni, sbb dh ketinggalan zmn.

sekurang2nya, beli produk yg gune terus Android 2.2 & kalu bole beli yg GPL compliance , baru leh upgrade ke Android 2.3 nnti..
sebab kalu beli Android versi lama, nnti byk apps tkle pakai sbb tk compatible..

Aku agak kurang gemar dgn creative ni, walaupun produk diorang bagus, tapi service and support hampes. Mp3 player dorang keluar lg awal dari Ipod, sampai sekarang aku boleh pakai zen vision M aku beli tahun 2002 kut. Tapi satu2 model obsolete pasal tak upgrade software dan sebagainya. Takder la mcm Ipod boleh upgrade version sampai mcm2 boleh buat dgn Ipod. Source codes diorang proprietary, so nak pakai Rockbox pun tak boleh. Dr creative, bg aku Apple jauh lagi bagus support, harga tak beza sangat.

Archos, Iriver tu semua big names, cuma aku lepas pakai Iphone, memang menyesal psl dulu2 aku anti sikit Mac ni (pasal anti org2 yg memakainya, tak anti produk pun - biasala budak2).

pada aku, klu pilihan aku mgkin aku beli, mgkin archos 101 tablet (10", android 2.2, flash support, cortex A8 CPU) leh dpt dlm rm900~RM1k , kelebihannye archos ni komuniti forum dia rmai, rmai yg support, dh de progress dlm forum utk support ke Android 2.3.

klu 2nd Dell, tapi mahal plak smpai RM1.5k

csl mgkin okay, sbb ada service centre kt malaysia,

tapi dari segi long term, utk upgrade ke android yg baru, mgkin xde, jadi tablet ni leh dikatakan rugi dibeli pada mereka2 yg nk update versi latest android.

sbb csl pun tk kluarkn source code tuk android, sedangkn dari segi undang2, diorg perlu ikut lesen GPL ni, barula consumers tk stuck ngn versi android yg dibekalkn oleh manufacture.
