Though they are not romantically involved any more, their chemistry still lingers in our memory! [size=14.0014px]Ranbir Kapoor and [size=14.0014px]Deepika Padukone made their debut on the same day, and both were praised for their performances and billed as the superstars in the making. They did their second film together and one fine morning, the fans of both the stars got a pleasant surprise, when they heard both the actors are in a relationship! The pair made a lovely couple, and had no qualms in showing off their relationship in public. Sadly, like many other Bollywood relationships, even theirs came with an expiry date. Though they have moved on to other people (something they are not yet willing to publicly admit due to past scars!), it has not stopped them from working together in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, and the result was an undeniable blockbuster. Now they are coming up together in Tamasha, which is directed by the expert of subtle romances, Imtiaz Ali.
But before we are enraptured by their romance in Tamasha, let’s talk about five lessons in romance that they have taught us with their filmy dialogues in Bachna Ae Haseeno and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani…
[size=14.0014px] Lesson taught: It’s something these two ex-lovebirds would not want to forget themselves. It’s really difficult to make any boy/girl fall in love with you, but it’s quite easy for them to leave you, if you can’t hold on to them! It’s like it’s hard to make a building, but it’s so easy to demolish it! [size=14.0014px] Lesson taught: Ah…the lovely stirrings of first love…when the world is so lovely, people seem so nice, everything is so hunky-dory…everything is so governed by that feeling called love. Any one who has been in love knows what I am rambling about! In other words, this is also called as the Honeymoon phase! Just be careful when the phase ends, for then reality seeps in and bites you…and it has a stinging bite! [size=14.0014px] Lesson taught: Yeah..it sounds sexist…but it also hints that that if anything develops between the boy and the girl, it would never be a passing fling, but more of a lifetime recharge! [size=14.0014px] Lesson taught: The best way to hit at a girl without letting her know you are hitting at her – praise her one quality that attracts you, while throwing in a ‘What if…’ situation! [size=14.0014px] Lesson taught: Rebound can happen even if you haven’t parted with each other in amicable terms. For more evidence, check what happened with Ross and Rachel in F.R.I.E.N.D.S.!
