Inter sign Samuel

Internazionale have confirmed the signing of Walter Samuel from Real Madrid.
The Milan club are also keen to wrap up a deal to bring Samuel's Bernabeu team-mate Luis Figo to Giuseppe Meazza as they plot an assault on the Serie A title next term.
An official statement by Inter confirmed the Argentinian defender has signed a four-year contract with the Nerazzurri.
The 27-year-old failed to shine at Real and returns to Italy after previously leaving Roma for the Spanish capital.
Although no fee was disclosed, it is understood Inter have paid in the region of €16 million for the South American centre back. |
