Howto calm someone while they’re having a panic attack;
Step one: Wrap your arms tightly around them, kind of like ahug. It triggers a hormone in the brain and calms them. (They may resist, butthey will relax into your arms at some point)
Step two: If you hum or whisper softly, the vibrationsagainst their body will soothe them.
Step three: Tell them its gonna be okay.
