Bipasha's magic on Rohan Sippy
The chemistry of Bengali beauty Bipasha Basu has worked well in the industry. After John Abraham and Dino Morea, her chemistry charmed the director of 'Kuchh Na Kaho' Rohan Sippy. Recently, Rohan has shot a thirty-second ad on Bipasha for Panasonic in Bangkok. It is being said that the shooting of this ad film has brought them closer to each other. How long this relationship between Bipasha Basu and Rohan Sippy will continue can be anybody's guess. But Rohan needs to be aware that the magic of Bipasha works well on youngsters.

SANJAY KAPOOR TURNS A VILLAIN
Sanjay Kapoor has turned a villain from a romantic hero. He justifies it saying that the audience has appreciated his negative roles. He cites the example of his character in his 'Julie', where his villainous role has been widely applauded by the critics and the audience. Sanjay said this in Noida, near Delhi, while answering questions of the students of the Asian Academy of Film and Television. He says that the moviegoers are looking for hat ke (different) movies. So he is happy to do new and challenging roles to satisfy them.
Regarding his career in the past, he blamed the media to compare him in his debut movie 'Prem' with Anil Kapoor in the latter's 'Lamhe' as both the films were released simultaneously. The media should recall that Anil had been there for 15 years. " My comparison with Anil was, therefore, unfair."
Sanjay is sore that when his movie 'Raja' hit the box office, the whole credit was given to Madhuri Dixit. However, when ' Prem' bombed at the window, its failure was attributed to him. At that time, he decided to do something different. And the luck favored him. He got an offer of 'Koi Mere Dil Se Poonche', and the role was negative. "Though my friends advised me not to accept the brief negative role in this movie with a new hero like Aftaab Shivdasani, I didn't take their advice seriously." Though the movie flopped but Sanjay's new looks in the movie attracted viewers towards him. Soon he acted in 'Qayamat' in a negative role. The audience lauded this too.

ANTARA ON URMILA'S TRACK
After working in more than half a dozen films in the industry Antara Mali's magic has not worked on the audience. Actress Antara Mali is yet to establish herself in the industry. Now, Ram Gopal Verma has admitted Antara in his camp. So Antara is going to follow Urmila after joining Ramu's camp.
Antara is acting in Ramu's new film 'Naach' with Junior Bachchan. This film is going to release during the Deepawali week. Antara has given some bold shots in ' Naach' like those of Urmila in 'Rangeela'. Antara is seen with tight clothes in this film, besides giving a lip kiss with Abhishek, according to reports in the industry. Antara had performed well in 'Company', but all the credit had gone to Vivek and Ajay Devgan.
Antara is the daughter of famous photographer Jagdish Mali. But she has never used her father's identity to establish herself in the industry. Her film 'Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahati Hoon' could not fetch good business at the box office. However, Antara was able to create an identity as a heroine in the industry. Antara has a good expectation from Naach. Now, Abhishek Bachchan has a good position in the industry. So Antara is also positive about this film. Abhishek is playing the role of such a person who is ready to do anything to find a place in the film industry. Initiall, Kiran Reddy was supposed to direct this film. But now Ramu is directing it with Kiran Reddy. This is the first time when Ramu is directing a film with someone.

Puzzled Priyanka
Miss World Priyanka Chopra has become more confident after the success of 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi'. Recently, Priyanka Chopra was found asking most of the crewmembers on the set of Sanjay F. Gupta's film with John Abraham. She had worn very little clothes and asked her make up man and hairdresser too if she looked indecent in these clothes. She posed this query to those who were staring at her. She should have rather checked with the mirror because mirror never tells a lie.

Sushmita to follow Neha
Sushmita Sen is also following the trend set by Mallika and Neha. Most of the heroines are surprised seeing Mallika's success after 'Murder'. So they seem to be ready for body exposure and bold scenes. Joining the bandwagon, Sushmita Sen has signed three films of the 'Murder' genre. In all the three, she is playing the role of a sex worker. In real life she may not be aware of the plight of a sex worker but on the screen she may prove a great success.

Arbaaz waits for Gracy in 'Wajahh'
Arbaz Khan is excited about his solo performing film 'Vajeh: A reason to Kill'. Recently, he was in the capital with heroine Gracy Singh and director Gautam Adhikari for the promotion of his film. Incidentally, Arbaaz had reached early to address the press. Director Gautam Adhikari and hero Arbaaz Khan waited for heroine Gracy Singh but she did not reach there for long time. In a relaxed mood Arbaaz said to the press that for the first time she is playing the role of my wife. Let us give her some time for make up. Arbaaz was desperately waiting for Gracy in the Sunder Mahal of the hotel. But soon Arbaaz's wait ended when Gracy entered the hall wearing a red color suit. Even Arbaaz got up from his seat to welcome his heroine.

Interview with Bobby Deol
The mist looming over the industry dispelled to allow the panoramic Hrithik Roshan to unfold himself. No sooner had this bicepsular turk hit the bull's eye that Deol Jr. hit back with a vengeance after the debacle of Dillagi. His recently released Badal may not be a runaway hit, but it's commendable run at several centres is enough to outstrip the collections of mega-budgets like Mela, Pukar and Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani. As positive reports of Badal continued to trickle in, we immediately made a congratulatory call to Bobby at Hotel Krishna Oberoi in Hyderabad and hounded him with a bag o'questions. The guy was thrilled at his latest success:
Q: How do you feel now that Badal has taken a good start in the North-Indian circuit?
It's a great reassurance! Its successful opening has boosted my confidence. I was feeling insecure before the release, now I'm not. In fact, I'm feeling rather relaxed. (laughs)
Q: Were you expecting the film to take a good opening in the B & C centres?
See, there are no two ways that Badal is an out and out action-packed commercial project. It is definitely a mass-puller. Raj Kanwar has a superb track record when it comes to luring the hoi polloi. So the fact that it took a great opening in the small centres didn't come as a surprise to me.
Q: At this juncture in your career, how important is Badal?
Every film of mine is equally important. If the film works, then people tend to overlook an average performance and call you the best! Of course, talent is important but this industry rates you on the basis of your hit/flop ratio. I have gone through terrible lows. Now I want to enjoy my success.
Q: What went wrong with Dillagi?
I still haven't found an answer to this question! It's a mystery even today. Dillagi was not a masterpiece, but it was definitely a cut above a routine, commercial flick. In fact, everyone who saw it said they liked it. We managed some rave reviews as well. I can't fathom what went wrong. I believe some people found it a tad long.
Q: Hrithik Roshan and you are two sought-after young heroes today. Do you think the new generation will rule the millennium?
Every few years a fresh stock of artists enter the industry. It's an ongoing cycle; the old has to recede and give way to the new, though I still believe that some artists of our bygone era are simply irreplaceable. Fortunately or unfortunately, everything today has become very youth-oriented. Producers feel that the teen-populace constitutes a chunk of the market. To the extent that if the youngsters fail to take on to a film, its prospects are bleak. Earlier people wanted to see more mature faces. Things are a lot different today. Films like Bombay Boys, Hyderabad Blues, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai had tremendous youth appeal and clicked. Hrithik and I look young today. After some years we'll begin looking old and then no one will want to see us! (Laughs)
Q: How important is a review given by a film critic?
It means a lot and I am glad that critics have begun appreciating my work. A good review is a great reward for the hard work one invested in a project. Moreover, I am not shy anymore. I am at complete ease with the camera. With time and experience, I have started understanding my shortfalls and strengths better. I know what suits me and what doesn't.
Q: What do you think are your assets?
I don't have a chalta hai attitude. I'm the last person to be lackadaisical or laid back. I would say I'm diligent and always willing to experiment. It's the will to grow.
Q: What is your ultimate ambition?
My only ambition is to be there for my family always. I want Papa to be proud of me and I am working very hard for that.

Hrithik Roshan: A Regular Guy
Ever wonder what a superstar like Hrithik Roshan was when he was just a regular guy in college. Ever wonder whether he went through the same angst...you know, what to eat, how to spend, who to date, what to say, how to dress, whom to impress, and, most important...where to find sufficient money to do all this.
Q: What are your memories of college?
I was quite shy, and very skinny. Much skinnier than I am now. I used to go to college and the first thing I did was go to the sandwichwalla after the train journey from Juhu. Then I would go to the canteen, see what's happening, what classes are on, what aren't...just generally hang around. There were a lot of strikes, so we had a lot of free time. Afterwards, I went to Satkar (a local hangout) for lunch. I loved their Chana Bhature. In junior college I attended class, not regularly, but I attended class. In my final three years though, I didn't go to class at all. I was busy assisting Dad with his work. About two or three weeks before the exams, I found out my roll number and the books and then studied diligently. I concentrated for those two-three weeks and got a good 60-70%. There was some book- social economics or something like that that wasn't available, so I xeroxed the whole damn thing from my friend. Basically, I would pass with first class, and I was happy.
Q: Were you in any societies?
I was in...what was that society--you read to the blind...SSL! I was in the SSL (The Social Service League). We used to read to the blind, and volunteered at Bandra Fair, we made lines for people to walk and stuff. We got extra marks for it too. I was in the DS (Dramatics Society), but I never did anything about it.
Q: Anyone you'd say 'Ha! Ha! I'm Hrithik Roshan today...look at you'?
No yaar, no one was really bad to me. I was hardly there for anyone to be bad. The last three years, I hardly went, if I did, I just went to the sandwichwalla, had a sandwich and came back.
Q: Did you ever use your dad's name to try and throw your weight around?
No, no, never. In fact, I used to shy away from that. It used to make me feel very awkward to be around people who knew who I was. I was more comfortable with people who didn't know who I was. I was very shy. I still am kind of a shy person.
Q: How was your financial status in college? Did you have to keep borrowing from friends, or were you reasonably well off?
My Mom used to give me pocket money. 200 rupees a month. It didn't do anything. But somehow I managed, I got by.
Q: Were you much involved with what was happening in college?
I wasn't very involved in college because my mind was more in my Dad's work and what I wanted to do in life.
Q: So you knew right from the beginning what you wanted to do?
Yeah right from the day I realized that I had to something in life, I knew what it was.
Q: Did you have a girlfriend in college?
In college? I was very shy, so I never really had a girlfriend. I had dates, blind dates, but the problem for me was that they fell in love too soon. Just one meeting and she used to say I'm in love.
Q: Yeah, we all have problems like that..
Ha, yeah. I just don't think that can happen-just meet the person once and fall in love-it's stupid. So I never found anyone mature enough to understand what love is. And you can't just fall in love after the first meeting, yaar. So that's it- I went out on 2 day- 3 day flings, but no steady relationships, no.
Q: Are you still in touch with anyone from your batch?
From my batch, yeah, Uday Chopra- Yash Chopra's son. He lives right opposite my house, and we used to hang out together, go together, catch the same train etc.
Q: Have you changed much since college?
Yeah, I've worked on my shyness, over come my inhibitions. I'm more open now, more outgoing. I've attacked all my fears and overcome them.

SUNIL SHETTY'S HEART-COPY
If I could, I would?
#1 Take cinema back to the time when there were only theatres and no television:
Today television has crept into every household; it's virtually destroying us. There are several film-based programs that opine about our acting skills, fate etc. They inform the hoi polloi about the commercial prospects and the eventual outcome of a film's run at the box-office. Trailers and countdown shows cause people to form a certain impression of the film even before it releases. While I admit that all this goes a long way in publicizing the film, it's not always bright as it looks! Moreover, the quality of television serials these days seems to be improving. I don't really get time to watch them, but a cursory glance at one or two is enough conviction that serials are ameliorating. I wish there were only theatres, no television, no radio, so that people would watch the film without any pre-conceived notions or external influences.
#2 Turn the clocks of time back to the 'Sholay' days:
Those were the days when action films were in. And 'Sholay' is perhaps one of the best action flicks in Bollywood. I would enjoy doing a 'Sholay'. For a man who started his career as an action hero, this film would've been a dream come true! I'm so envious of Amitji and Dharamji. They were stupendous in that film. Very often I imagine myself and another action hero doing that film, say Akki, Salman or Sunny. I promise you that we would have done cent percent justice, but I guess a masterpiece like that is a rarity out here!
#3 Wipe out the phase when the underworld entered Bollywood:
What we saw some years back, and what's happening in a small measure even today is something that's more than plain scary. The underworld's held our industry to ransom and I don't blame them in a way. They don't mess with you if you don't interfere. But if a producer is going to fall back on them for monetary support and then not pay back, it's bound to irritate anybody! We're living on the edge. We don't know whether we'll be alive tomorrow! Sometimes, I really feel like packing my bags and returning to Mangalore. Even though I enjoy Mumbai, I dislike the din and hustle bustle of city life! There are so many events and daily irritations here that make us ill-humored."
#4 Stop Raj Kapoor's death:
When the legend passed away, I actually wondered what would happen to Indian cinema, whether the R K banner would ever continue soaring to the same pinnacle of glory. Raj Kapoor was a superb singer, actor and director. He's made films that've made me cry. I wish I would be living in those days. I would have pleaded with him to cast me in at least one of his films.
#5 Like to drop the first five years of my career:
Last but not the least, I will confess, in retrospect, that the first five years of my career were embarrassing. I'm not ashamed of the films I did, neither am I disassociating with them. They are there and will always be behind me. It's just that after doing some really good films in recent years and acquiring recognition, I can't believe what I did in my early years. I mean, I would never want Atiya and Ahaan to watch them. But I guess everyone has to do stuff like that to start off. I treat those films as my passport into tinsel-ville. They were learning experiences; I've matured now. I do films not out of emotion, but conviction. "

Interview: KAREENA KAPOOR
Kareena Kapoor is a young lady in the right place at the right time. Just 20, she is slated to make one of the most written and talked about debuts in June when her first film Refugee costarring Abhishek Bachchan releases. Understandably then she is in the public eye, not only because her surname singles her out for attention but also because her debut has been awaited for a long time, since she was 15 in fact and a constant companion to big sister Karisma. Having fretted so long while her sister took the limelight she proves a natural at answering questions showing none of the diplomacy or reticence most actresses do.
What is your favourite colour?
Black. And Red.
Favourite film?
CHANDNI. I also love old films.
Favourite hang out place?
My friends' house.
Clothes?
Salwar kameez. I've crossed the stage of wearing minis and such clothes and have become more conscious of the way I dress.
Song?
Lagja gale from Woh Kaun Thi. I can hear it a hundred times and not get bored. I also love romantic duets. My favourite is Pal pal dil ke paas from Blackmail. I love old music. On outdoor shoots I always carry a bag full of music. I love the olden days. I want to be like Nargis or Meena Kumari and do something different. I don't want to do what the other girls are doing.
What do you do when you're not shooting?
When not shooting I am out with my friends. We do what I love doing i.e. eating. I'm out every single day for dinner. In fact my mother keeps grumbling about it.
What food do you like?
Thai food and my favourite place to have it is at Thai Pavilion at the President. The only alternative is a homemade Thai meal and I'm lucky I have a lot of friends whose parents cook good Thai food.
Do you cook?
I'm a very good cook. For two years I went to cooking classes and I learnt. I can cook everything, Indian, Chinese, cakes, pastries, everything.
What do you like feeding people?
Chocolate cake. My chocolate cakes are yummy.
Do you go on dates?
Dates? Never. I have a lot of male friends though, we go out in groups.
How would you react to being asked for a date?
I wouldn't agree unless I really knew him and had feelings for him.
If you met this guy you really liked and went out on a date with him, what sort of a date would you like?
I'm very romantic so I would like candlelight. But no long drive for me. If I go on a date it's got to be 'paisa vasool' which means the best eating-place in town. Like I said, I love eating. It would have to be a candlelight dinner at Zodiac Grill with yummy food. I would be most happy with that.
Tell us about working in Refugee?
It was brilliant, a treasured dream come true. It was so good there was nothing wrong with it. It was terrific working with Mr. Dutta who is part of my family (he assisted Randhir Kapoor for years) and Abhishek who is also a part of my family and a dear friend. The role is something to die for. It has many shades. There are scenes that I know, as an actress, will greatly affect the audience. I agree with everything the director has shown. The feelings my character goes through in the film are similar to what I would go through too. But her shyness and her coyness was just not me. In fact they were the opposite of what I am, but it was a good change for me.
What sort of roles are you looking for?
Roles that give me a chance to perform. Something I believe in, like Kajol's role in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Roles for which I will be taken seriously as an actress from the beginning. I'm very lucky I am doing films with makers like Karan Johar, Subhash Ghai and Satish Kaushik. I also have a very good role in a Mahesh Manjrekar film with Sanjay Dutt in which I play a blind girl.
Is there anything you don't want to do in films?
I don't want to be a dancing heroine who just comes in for three songs. And I don't want to do action films. That is not my scene and I will never do them. Let's be honest, I hate dancing and I can't dance. So what? I can cry, I cry long after emotional scenes are over because I feel so much for what is happening. I'd rather do that than dance.
What do you do with your sister Karisma when you both have a day off?
Such days are rare but we like to spend them gossiping. We chat about movies. She rarely gets a chance to go out so I like to take her to all the new places. But when we are out of the country we have much more fun. In London or New York we go berserk shopping. We get up at 9.00am and go to the mall and shop till the last announcement says that we just have to leave. We don't go to nightclubs though we like to catch up on the latest films.
Are you very much a Virgo (date of birth Sept. 21)?
Absolutely. I'm a perfectionist. I'm very particular about everything being in the right place at the right time. My room is the cleanest room in the house. By the way Lolo's (Karisma's) is the worst.
What is your first film memory?
Lolo's first day of shooting. I've been with her right from her first film till Chal Mere Bhai, which has just released. Now I'm on my own, and loving every minute of it.

PREITY GOES UP ON TRIAL!
Preity Zinta's three-film career has been mixed so far. Dil Se, Soldier and Sangharsh got her noticed but did not automatically catapult her into the A-league. How will Kya Kehna fare? Preity Zinta is now at the crossroads.
Q: Kya Kehna has been over-publicized. Does this scare you as expectations have risen?
Not really. It's a film about a woman, a family-oriented film. The romance angle has also been stressed. It will surely generate a great deal of social awareness. It's an issue-based film. I'm glad that we have started making films like this rather than those with just songs and gloss. The film is about an unwed mother and is a reflection of what is happening in our society, country and in the world at large. I would like the women, particularly, to watch it.
Q: Would you get into a situation like this in real life?
(laughs) I don't know. This is not a situation one hopes for, in fact it's something no young girl should get into. There's so much pain and trauma involved in getting pregnant when you are not married. This film has a strong message to convey. Sometimes when you are given a lot of freedom, you tend to misuse it, especially at a tender age.
Q: Chandrachur Singh and Saif Ali Khan are not commercially viable today. Does that bother you?
That's a frivolous question. No actor is greater than the script and no star is greater than a film. There are so many actors in the industry that should have been doing well but their films are a washout at the box-office. Chandrachur and Saif have given good performances.
Q: What prompted you to do the one-minute role in 'Dillagi'?
I'm very fond of Bobby Deol. So when he asked me to do a guest appearance, I agreed immediately.
Q: Is there any feeling of insecurity concerning the new girls entering the industry?
None at all. We are all different individuals with distinct personalities. What suits me will always suit me. I sincerely wish Rinke, Esha, Kareena and the others the very best. There was a time when I was new and I know how it feels when your film does not do well.
Q: How does it feel working with Hrithik in 'Mission Kashmir', now that he's such a craze?
I have known Hrithik even before 'Kaho Naa Pyar Hai' released so it's the same feeling. I would have to be a really shallow person to get carried away now that he's a big craze. I'm happy for him and all the success that he's tasted. He's a great guy with a terrific sense of humour.
Q: Is it true that your sister wants to get into films as well?
That's the weirdest thing I've heard. I have cousins, two of whom are married and one is in standard eleven and has no inclination whatsoever of getting into films.
Q: On one hand you are being cast opposite the younger heroes and on the other hand you are working with a mature hero like Sunny Deol?
My roles with them are on that level. It's not like we are playing college-going kids. I am playing a young college girl who likes an older guy. I am very childish in 'Farz'.

RANI'S ARRANGED MARRIAGE?
Don't be surprised or rather shocked to know about an important revelation recently made in the tinsel world. Rani Mukherjee who is quite close to becoming the Number One Hindi heroine in Bollywood today was going to be married even before entering the filmdom! None other than Rani herself has disclosed this. She says that her mother had arranged her marriage with someone when she was quite young. But before entering the arranged wedlock Rani arranged her entry into films.
Why did she prefer films to the arranged marriage isn't revealed though? When asked about the boy named to marry her she says that the boy was her great fan. However, she doesn't want to reveal the name of her fan though the boy has expressed his strong liking for Rani to her parents. Why doesn't she reveal the fan's name is a mystery? Besides, there is another mystery. Rani has announced that she wouldn't invite her great fan to her marriage, whenever it takes place. Rani doesn't want to reveal the reason for this too. One wonders if Rani is creating a sort of filmi suspense among her fans by keeping these things secret.

KIM SHARMA BANKS ON HER NEW MOVIES
Kim Sharma was lucky enough to get a chance to do 'Mohabbatein' under the banner of Yash Chopra, but even then failed to get more offers from him or any other producer. This is despite the fact that Kim Sharma did a good job in 'Mohabbatein'. Kim regrets it but attributes her failure to her fate. " An actor can only do his or her best, the result depends upon God." She is frank and straightforward in replying to all questions relating to her profession. However, she gets angry when the media asks about the status of her friendship with cricketer Yuvraj Singh. She says, " You need not bother about my personal life. The media has already troubled me a lot by linking me with someone or the other.
I urge upon you not to link my name either with Yuvraj Singh or any other person." She regrets that her movies after 'Mohabbatein' didn't fare well at the box office. " If one succeeds then her mistakes are ignored. If one fails her movies are subjected to postmortem. Since I have been in the industry for the last four years, I have stopped worrying about the results now." Has she erred in choosing her movies? " No, I don't think so. Anyway, I am not going to be disillusioned with the failure. I am sure my bad days will end by the yearend. " When asked about her forthcoming movies, she says that she is doing Ajay Chandok's comedy, besides Akbar Khan's 'Tajmahal' and 'Kudiyon Ka Zamana' starring Rekha. " I am banking on these movies, which, I am sure will go a long way in securing my career in the near future."

DIA :EMRAAN IS VERY GOOD IN KISSING
Former beauty queen Dia Mirza is ready to follow the same suit with the hot Emraan Hashmi replacing Mallika Sherawat in her next film 'Tumsa Nahin Dekha'. How else would she comment that Emraan's response in that smooch scene in public shows that he is very good in kissing! Both Dia and Emraan were present in New Delhi today (Thursday) for the promotion of the new film directed by Anurag Bose and produced by Mahesh Bhatt and SaReGaMa.
The film 'Tumsa Nahin Dekha' centers on love affairs of Dia and Emraan. In this film Dia plays the role of a middle class working girl and Emraan of a rich guy. The film takes the interesting turn with the scene of Emraan meeting Dia on the crowded roadside and kissing her in public. After that the love affair starts and film proceeds on the platform of romance. Later, this love affair turns the lover from a casual brat splendidly spending money into a responsible person.
The most interesting fact is that the kissing scene in public between Dia and Emraan has become a hot recipe for the media. Dia turns strong and tells the crowded media, "What will you ask about the film? How was your experience in the kissing scene?" Then she reacts to the question and replies, " It is definite that when a guy kisses a girl in public and people look at you, any girl will feel shy. In that kissing scene it happened that I got worried and looked very tense but that expressed the real mood of the scene." At the same time she showed to the media that she is strong enough to confess how she felt after the public smooch. Answering to Emraan's response in that scene she smilingly adds that he is very good in kissing! This shows that Dia has emerged stronger in her will power and would pose challenge to her so called sexy bombshells. Let's wait to see her next movie though.
After the commercial success of hot cake 'Murder' Emraan Hashmi is looked at as a hot hero in Bollywood. But Emraan doesn't agree with this statement when he talks about this film. He says, "In this film except one or two shots you will not find any bold shots. Those shots which seem to be bit bold are the demand of the script and go well with the script." He also denies that this is a bold film like 'Murder'.
'Murder' and 'Jism's commercial success has led Mahesh Bhatt to try to break the trend in this film. He goes back to the romantic melody era of 'Ashiqui', 'Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke' and 'Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin'.
Yet it can be safely said that while Emraan is going to change his image through this film, Dia is looking at it as a milestone in the solo performance of her career. However, only time will tell how far this film ushers in a bright future for Dia and Emraan. The Reliance Web World had arranged the pre-promotional campaign of this film in the capital.

Kareena banks on Salman for offers
Kareena Kapoor is paying more attention towards Salman Khan than Shahid Kapoor. The reason is simple. Salman Khan can help her in getting movie assignments. She knows Salman has helped several girls in bagging film offers, which they were unable to get otherwise. Recently, Salman got Kareena Kapoor some work in the movies of Priyadarshan and Sohail Khan. After all, the service pays in the long run. Kareena's gain is Aishwarya's loss!
