Brendan Rodgers didalam sidang akhbar baru-baru ini menyatakan kekecewaannya terhadap FSG setelah Liverpool terlepas untuk mendapatkan pemain antarabangsa Brazil, Willian. Beliau juga menyatakan pemain tersebut tidak ke Liverpool bukan atas dasar Bola Sepak, tetapi akibat daripada faktor kewangan yang menyebabkan Willian mengubah fikiran ke Spurs yang menawarkan gaji lebih tinggi.

Aston Villa Vs Liverpool – Player Ratings

Liverpool registered their second win of the season in as many matches. Thanks to a Daniel Sturridge’ goal, Liverpool defeated Villa with a 1-0 scoreline at the Villa Park. Here is the player ratings for all of Liverpool’s players from this match.

Simon Mignolet- Once again the hero for the Merseyside. Denied Benteke on more than one occasions, with particularly one shot to the left of the keeper being tremendous.
Ratings- 9/10

Glen Johnson- Was decent in his defensive areas throughout. Began to approach forward and help the team in the attack a few times. Could have been more precise in front of the goal of the opposition.
Ratings- 6.5/10 (mmg teruk pn dia ni smlm..kna ayam jek)

Daniel Agger- The newly appointed vice captain was excellent in the defence and did not allow the Villa strikers to dominate the game. Was always rightly positioned.
Ratings- 8/10 (ada 2,3x bt mistake yg bahaya..tambah2 time backpass kat mignolet tu)

Jose Enrique- Was good enough in the left side of the defence. Occassionally marched forward to give the Villa left backs trouble.
Ratings- 7.5/10

Kolo Toure- Definitely a man of the match candidate. Was astounding in the back. Did not provide any space to Benteke and it was mainly because of him that the scoresheet has remained 1-0.
Ratings- 9/10

Lucas Leiva- Played well in patches. Have been physical at times. But could have been a tad better with his passing and ball distribution.
Ratings- 7/10 (2nd half byak ilang bola)

Steven Gerrard- A true leader on the pitch today. Displayed excellent work rate. Moved forward and dropped back with ease.
Ratings- 8.5/10

Coutinho- Played some good balls, but form seemed to have dipped a little. Have made quite a few mispass.
Rating- 6.5/10 (byak sgt kna bantai dia nih smlm..dlm 2 game dah 18x kna tibai..demmit)

Jordan Henderson- Average performance. Decent but not noteworthy. Did make a few impressive runs and get got into good positions.
Ratings- 7.5/10 (yg nih lost cam downing jek..cuma ada skali jek cros dia yg cun)

Iago Aspas- Played some nice touches with Coutinho. Needs to get more involved in the game to earn the regular spot.
Ratings- 7/10 (lost gak smlm..tambah2 2nd half)

Daniel Sturridge- Scored the only goal of the match with a neat finish. The main player of the team with Suarez gone now.
Ratings- 8.5/10

Subs-

Aly Cissokho- Came out of the field with 20 mins left. Made some nice runs across the left wing.
Ratings- 7.5/10

Joe Allen- Had little impact on the game. Nothing the freeiom
Ratings- 6.5/10
