Sorry Adam as much as I love you, to me Pia is overrated macam Kat McPhee..........both got the looks and voice but dorang nih lagi laku for dinner show also guest stars in tv series cam si kat in CSI etc daripada wat album and jadi laku cos they don't have the attitude.
To be a successful diva/pagent like artiste either you do a country album (Carrie Underwood) or RnB (Jennifer Huson). Pop diva cam Mariah Carey and Celine Dion dah so outdated now. Kalo nak jadi successful pop singer kena cam Kelly Clarkson.....cool, warm and got attitude.
Successful pop singer yg relevant skang is Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Fergie, Avril Lavine, Kesha (sore sucks tapi lagu penuh attitude). Pop album adalah album yg paling susah jual due to stiff competition but kalo menjadi, mmg kababoom.
So tell me, how in the world the pagentlike Pia is relevant and a guarantee aka potential successful singer........unless dia ader aura cam Mawi |

Minah tu ada penyakit stage fright yg teruk tu pasal kejung; no wonder she tak jadi penyanyi before this. So I guess if she dapat some sort of management yg boleh help go seek treatment to overcome maybe she can do evolve into a stage performer. As for recording artist she takde problem; give her great songs and she can just sit on her butt and sing like Adele. |

Adele is a singer/song writer type of artiste which is a hit now. Dia lebih low key and she's a successful British singer and laku kat sana sebelum penetrate American market. Her 1st attempt in US not successful but last Grammy dia menang byk. But honestly, aku tak taw pon lagu minah nih.

Tgk ler Carrie Underwood masa dlm AI kampung tak hengat; but nasib dia baik sebab genre country. Pia ni pakej dah ada so masukkan dlm studio ajar menari, showmanship and get great songs.
Its all about management in US; dpt macam suami beyonce tu boom in a few years can be international star.
JHud duly pun noone pandang; tapi dapat jer management yg dpt penetrate group2 hip-hop she terus dopt peluang terus dpt berlakun dgn Beyonce. |

That's why I mention kalo RnB and Country mmg senang nak naik and album nak laku. Tapi kalo pop, either you do dance cam Kesha, katy Perry, lady gaga etc or singer/song writer thing, which I think neither category fits Pia. Even Kat dulu try mem'fresh'kan diri dengan memblonde kan rambut bagai.........still her album flopped, her 1st album only 300k and the 2nd album 30 k jer. With the so much hype during her idol stint, she flopped as a singer, she's more successful as 'artis majalah jer' and artis berparti2 kat parti David Foster sume to jer. |

Sebenarnya its the management strategy; the strong people in music industry in USA at the moment are the hip hop, rap. Then they slowly start to manage the ladies and kerana kebanyakannya hitam so music tu more to R&B but now dah infiltrate pop in the likes of Justin Bieber. To counter this black music the whites ler datang dgn lagu electronic beat pop ala2 kesha, lady gaga lak yg Adam suka sgt tu. Those who do have voice to sing should not go the pop nowadays; so if people like Pia can get management yg boleh bentuk dia cam Kelly Clarkson it will work. |
