MANCHESTER United today announced a multi-million pound sponsorship deal with Swiss watchmaker Hublot.
The agreement sees Hublot become the official timekeeper to the Premier League and European champions.
Hublot is the fourth sponsor to commit to the Old Trafford club sincethe start of the season, following Saudi Telecom, Seoul MetropolitanGovernment and Budweiser's renewal.
Details were being announced at the ground today at a news conferenceattended by manager Sir Alex Ferguson, chief executive David Gill andstar players.
Mr Gill said: "We're delighted to welcome such a prestigious partner asHublot to the Manchester United family. Their reputation for excellenceand innovation makes them a fitting and exciting sponsor for the club.
"Alex is well-known as a stickler for timekeeping, both on and off the pitch. Now we have a partner that shares his passion."
It is thought the four-year deal with Hublot is worth under
Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo believes that it would be 'logical' for him to win the prestigious European Footballer of the Year accolade. Once again the Portuguese international has blown his own trumpet in the press...
