Ahahah.. In the beginning I stated that I accidentally put this thread on Lover's problem board. I am thinking that it should have been personal problem board.
Yes, another little drama came up. This american friend.
I noticed that these past few days he has been awfully quiet. Cam bosan pulak aku.. and I have mentioned on it too. Good thing the German Expat was available and made my night.
Last night (morning his time) he said HI and apologised for being quiet, He said that he totally shut down and vegged out. I am not sure what has been going on with him BUT, I noticed that he's been making a fuss over the days drawing near - that I am visiting him soon (klu jadi). That he couldn't believe it is happening. Ok, I am the one making the long trip, but why does he need to be the one acting like the headless chicken? Ehh... Macamla I am going to spend all those 2 weeks with him. I have a friend with me ok? Arghhh...
So, I managed to get it out of him a bit - mind you, I am still reluctant to get 'personal' with him. I am just not ready to go all the way emotionally - there are still things I fear in this so called half baked relationship.
SO I asked him what he was worried about - and his answer was "dynamics and distance". I hate to assume anything. I am just hoping he is NOT talking about US. Oh god, my life is already complicated. I don't need this. |

yeah ..things kinda get rather complicated when there is already an "attachment" from that person to you ni....hmm....well just wait and see how it goes lah is the best advice....
well have u already stated ur terms at the beginning saying that u are not looking for love but just friendship instead?

Well, it is hard to say of what he wants or what he feels about me at the moment - all that I know, he is 'broken' at the moment and is going though an episode of depression. I wonder what role I am playing in this at all. I am reluctant to open myself or himself up. Still afraid.
The closer it gets the worse he seems - well, seems like that to me. But I am thinking, that could be just a coincident jer kot. Got nothing to do with me kot? Cuma, when he is under the influence, he'd send me messages. Kisses and stuff.
A couple of months ago, he said, he had no expectation and that he hopes for fun things to happen - so, I decided to conclude that, it's nothing big la just 2 old friends meeting up finally and make the best of the time we both have. But that is from what he said. According to his friend, he did talk about me with him, meaning, I am somewhat important jugak kan? (And I talk about him in this forum - yes he is important to me to a degree and I need to share and rationalise all these with people that understand)
But there are moments when he'd visualise us in a relationship. Cuma, lately, he is becoming more and more reserved - kinda mind boggling. 3 days ago, he told me that he kept having this disbelief that this is actually happening. And the next day, he totally shut down. What an emotional rollercoaster, so much drama. Maybe this is a big deal for him. Entah la... But kinda headachy gak... I plan to spend sometime with the german expat (if he could make it) next week. Need some air. eh..

As for what I want - I have made it clear to him from the beginning and there is definitely no compromising. |
