Nepal Tourist Visa fee US$ 25 or equivalent foreign currency with multiple entry for 15 days.
US$ 40 or equivalent foreign currency with multiple entry for 30 days.
You may easily be issued the visa upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport - Kathmandu.

tapi kalau nak visa utk 5 bulan straight kena apply on New Year's day every year...hanya sekali setahun saje dia boleh bg..
selain pada tu tak lebih dr 3 bulan...itu maximum yg dia boleh bg kalau tak silap..

Firstly, your insurance...jgn cut corners...especially nak pg nnt masa november..it's peak period.. dan that means their facilities are limited...

pasal meal....ehehehehe makan dhal bhat hari2 tau hahahaha...dia tak bg makan benda lain..mengadap tu je la hari2..

lela tak nampak dia supply sleeping bag...hanya duffel bag...mungkin kena tanya dia AJ sbb nnt nak pegi november sejuk! kalau kat tea house dia bg selimut yg bulu2 tu rasanya tp my friends yg dah pg kate it's warm...after sometime la...kena tunggu body heat sendiri mengeneratekan heat...klu ade sleeping bag comfy sikit tak hehehe

satu lagi yg penting you must make sure your guide is the same person dlm permit yg dia pegang...kadang2 nama guide lain dr yg ade dlm permit..yg tu kalau kena tahan nnt mmg askar2 tu tak lalu nnt kalau kena masok certain areas to continue your trek or nak lalu path yg view dia jaw dropping..rugi je..benda2 ni jgn risau skarang..sampai sane nnt just ask for the documents for you to view and check..

nnt klu ade ape2 lg i'll share with you...

Visa rasanya lebih baik apply dr Malaysia atau from where you are based...
senang kalau ask travel agent yg uruskan
jgn la apply masa kat tribhuvan tu sbb ramai dan officers dorang suka suki mintak duit nak pow

your trek mmg long...satu hari buat more than 10 km tu..
mesti start before sunrise dan sampai destination before sunset
Ghandruk to Nayapul kalau tak silap descending kan? that's gonna be hard on the knees..
cuba tgk ade tak trail ke Ghandruk...if i'm not mistaken the road ends in nayapul..
so you kena sewa 4X4...
lela dah recce dah..4X4 USD50/day...yg elok punya...with driver...tell me if you need one..
by next week i might be able to offer you more precise infos

your agent kat Thamel ke?

hi claxicaa...
sy tak pasti pasal costs...
but if you are trying to gauge how much to pay for guide and porter roughly it'll be like USD15-USD25 for guide/day and around USD10 for porter..
it may cost you less or more depending on the season. if you go during off peak season then your costs would considerably be low.. and on that note your main concern would not be how cheap a guide can be but how good a guide is he...this you can overcome by adding an extra day before you leave...sembang dgn dia and you tgk dia ok tak...sgt penting dia faham ape yg kite ckp...failing to communicate with your guide can sometimes be fatal....

hope this helps..

if u arrange and plan the trip on your own you might be able to pull it through with RM5,000....with loads of extra hahaha...
mmg mahal la kalau ambil agent kan... but you need to do your homework and spend millions of hours doing your research
take a few days in Kathmandu to sort out your travel arrangements kalau dah set nak buat sendiri..

personally I tak boleh buat EBC in 13 or 14 days...and in good season....and I suggest you tanya
@arwien  about this sbb dia dah ade experience in the himalayas

Firstly, your insurance...jgn cut corners...especially nak pg nnt masa november..it's peak period..  ...

salam lela
thanks for tips and info.

insurance..InsyaAllah..insurance biasa i buat for my trip yg jejauh n panjang ni..cuma tgk survey yg bole2 include aktiviti naek bukit neh ke tak. ada recommendation?

on hotel...saya tgk beza price with and without hotel dalam usd22 jer for the whole trip, so i decided to let the agen book dalam pakej.. ada dia kasi nama hotel ari tu..but lupe plak, but rasanya we got better deal with travel agen, and i think was good review..nanti i check balik.

menu tu..hmm..gitula kot..but one of the company siap ade kasi list lagi pasal menu2 kat tea-house..so rasanya ada jugak option lain etc. at some of the tea house..but of course..kena praktis makan dhal bhaat la neh.

noted on the permit...InsyaAllah will check with them. rasanya the company yg i amik nih no issue..sebab among the recommended kat TA and rasanya LP. and pasal sleeping bag tu..hehe..will try to nego..kot2 bole kasi pinjam free.

pasal 4WD tu...xde book lagi..sbb agen kate on the spot kat ghandruk nanti ada banyak and harga dalam usd15 per person utk ke nayapul. from nayapul to pokhara, memang ada private transport, dah inclusive dlm package.

ok lela...thanks for sharing. will share my progress too here.

Salam AJ
regarding insurance ni rasanya kena tanya from your insurance agent la...

yg ni part yg paaaling crucial utk kite punya travel kat sane...

kena include Hiking, Climbing (cover all means and methods yg guna kaki dan tubuh badan ok...kehkehkeh)

PLUS domestic flight by helicopter
duration 5Days 4 Nights at Nepal
Kalau AXA contohnya ade a few Plans so mungkin boleh opt for Individual VIP plan.
and the area is category 2 - Worldwide

harap yg ni suffice tp please shop around for the best yea...

AJ...hampir terlufer nak tanya....
dah beli ticket ke kathmandu ke blom?
kalau belom lela suggest stay la 2 tau 3 hari di Pokhara lepas hiking nnt...lepas tu stay kat kathmandu 2 or 3 days jugak...
boleh pegi nagarkot and view sunset and sunrise kat sana sbb kat situ on a clear day dpt tengok the mighty everest...
kat Pokahar pon selain dr Phewa Lake yg ala2 romantik tu boleh gak melawat tempat2 lain...

tp lela tak pegi la cave2 yg ade kelawar ni...tak suka...minat batman sajork

teket dh beli dah. naik bas merah. tula cuti skjap jer time deepavali and memang slot in utk trekking tu semate.
InsyaAllah...kalau KathamanduAkuDatang neh..berjaya mencuri jiwa, akan repeat..sbb at kathmandu pun kejap jer, then pokhara pun.. InsyaAllah one day jer utk jejalan etc. hehe..

ada gak survey pasal nagarkot tu..tp sbb nk g ke pokhara so lupekan dulu. ari tu pun tgh kira2 either nk pegi poon-hill trek or jomson-mukhtinanth nk tengok kali gandaki river, or pegi everest panorama trek.. end up sbb kira2 timing and budget..poon hill yg fit in.
