Bosses at the CAMFED: Back to School Shop work to raise funds for education supplies including stationery and uniforms, as well as six-month or one-year bursaries for impoverished students in the region.
Watson, who showed her support for good causes in 2009 by launching her own ethical clothing range in aid of fair trade fashion charity People Tree, has thrown her weight behind the campaign.
Taking to her Twitter.com page on Thursday (23Aug12), the Harry Potter star writes, "Please help CamfedUK with their campaign to give that one thing their students need to go to school."

Emma Watson looks almost goddess-like as she arrives at the 2010 Costume Institute Gala Benefit held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC on Monday evening (May 3).
The benefit will celebrate the opening of the “American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity” exhibition. Emma, 20, will be sitting at the Burberry table with Daniel Craig, Hugh Dancy, Claire Danes, British model Rosie Huntington Whiteley, and photographer Mario Testino during the benefit.
