Colleagues forced to watch girl being raped

KUALA LUMPUR: Two men pleaded guilty to raping a Vietnamese girl at a reflexology centre and robbing the place in Setapak last month.
Mohamad Fadzlie M. Rosdi, 20, who is unemployed, pleaded guilty to raping the 18-year-old girl at the Seasons House Therapy Centre at Wisma Mutiara Genting, Jalan Genting Klang in Setapak at 1am on Nov 25.
Fadzlie was also charged with another, Mohd Khairell Idzham Hashim, 21, a contractor, with two counts of robbing the premises and causing hurt to the centre’s caretaker Jong Chiak Eng, 51, and his friend Teoh Chee Fah, 44, while armed with a parang.
They also admitted to committing the offences with two others who are still at large, at the same time and place. According to the facts, they had rang the bell at the centre for about 20 minutes, before barging into the premises.
They attacked Jong and Teoh. Jong suffered injury to his ear and had to receive 120 stitches, while Teoh had a slash wound on his palm.
They then ransacked the place looking for valuables. Jong was also made to watch as the girl was raped on the sofa. Another Vietnamese woman was also raped. The assailants then fled on two motorcycles.
Their acts, however, were caught on the closed-circuit-television-camera. The facts also revealed that following investigations, the rape victim said Fadzlie made her hold his penis and she realised that he had inserted ball bearings in his private part.
Judge Emelia Kaswati Mohamad Khalid fixed Dec 18 for sentencing to allow prosecution time to check if the accused had previous convictions. ASP Zulkifli Osman prosecuted while the Fadzlie and Khairell were not represented.
