Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has distanced himself from rumours linking him with a move to Manchester City and suggested that he would never kiss the club badge then leave the Emirates.
A fine series of displays for club and country have seen Wilshere gain plaudits a plenty and inevitably speculation has arose concerning his future at Arsenal.
The England man was quick to quell the latest stories doing the rounds, however, pouring cold water on Manchester City's supposed interest as well as making abundantly clear his love for the Gunners.
"I dont kiss the Arsenal badge then leave <3 this club in my heart," he tweeted on Tuesday.
The young midfielder is no stranger to using Twitter and has previously got himself into trouble after attacking referee Phil Dowd following Arsenal's 4-4 draw with Newcastle while he also used the social networking tool to have a dig at Barry Ferguson after the League Cup final loss to Birmingham. |
