Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits he is concerned by the 10-point gap which already exists between the Gunners and Manchester United.:ting:

But he reckons early-season internationals have hit the Gunners more than any other club.

He said: ? haven? seen any of the international players to work with properly in training since last season.

?hey have trained one or two days but you do not have the consistent presence of your players.

?ou can? do anything about it but you will see Liverpool have lost again as well. They had many internationals away. man utd xder yg main intnl ka? ramai gak weii :lol

?e?e a young team which has to work together and we?e putting ourselves in a difficult situation at the moment because we?e always 1-0 down. Eighty per cent of the time the team scoring first wins the game.?

Everything it seems is working against Wenger at the moment, even Arsenal? own stadium announcer. :lol mcm2 alasan

The Frenchman was furious about continuing public address messages concerning problems on the tube.

He said: ? was very annoyed. I think he has to respect people and not talk too much.

?here are people who want to watch a football game without being deflated and I feel it? out of order.

? don? know if it puts the players off but for people watching it? disturbing.?

There was a time when that same bloke on the microphone used to introduce Arsenal on to the field as the Premiership champions.

These days tube announcements are about as good as it gets.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham monitor duo

korang tak yah lah berebut huntelaar nie :nyorok:

[size=-2]Written by Sawyer | 10th September 2006
Scouts from Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham were in Amsterdam and Rotterdam on Sunday and were not disappointed by the two players they are believed to have been monitoring.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, who represented the Dutch national team for their two qualification matches during the past week, opened the score for Henk ten Cate's team in the 32nd minute as Ajax Amsterdam easily defeated Vitesse Arnhem at the ArenaA.

New Spanish signing Gabri added a second, just before the half time whistle and Huntelaar was on target again in the 55th minute. Not much later, Vitesse went down to ten after a red card for Ruud Knol, but Ajax wound down in preparation for their trip to IK Start in the Uefa Cup

Feyenoord have finally achieved their first victory of the season, beating Sparta 4-1 in the Rotterdam city derby on Sunday.

Ahead of the match, fans had clearly showed their opinion about current club chairman Jorien van den Herik, asking the president to step down immediately.

This was mainly caused by the current financial position the team is in, as well as the unexpected signing of Greek striker Angelos Charisteas from Ajax, whom the fans don't see as an adequate replacement for the departed Salomon Kalou and Dirk Kuyt.

However, Feyenoord's spirits were lifted after 14 minutes at 'het Kasteel', Sparta's venue, as Nicky Hofs had already given Feyenoord a 0-2 lead.

Hofs, along with Huntelaar, starred during Holland's triumphant U-21 European Championship victory in Portugal this summer and would have been the main attraction for the scouts during this match.

Ioannis Anastasiou did get one back for Sparta, converting a spot-kick in the 17th minute, but the hosts would never score an equaliser.

Instead, former PSV midfielder Theo Lucius converted a penalty in the 85th minute and Ali Boussabon added a fourth in the 87th.

Speculation regarding Huntelaar and Hofs is likely to rise as the season progresses, and several Premiership clubs are likely to be interested in two players Holland has a lot of hope for.
