Zambrotta back for Italy

There is more good news for Italy after their 2-0 win over Ghana last night as Gianluca Zambrotta has been declared injury-free.
The Juventus stopper missed the Hanover tie because of a thigh strain, but medics have handed him back to boss Marcello Lippi on Tuesday.
?ambrotta joined the rest of the squad this morning and is getting back to full fitness,? stated doctor Enrico Castellacci.
? think we can now all consider him to be back at the disposal of the Italian national Coach.?
Zambrotta featured in a very light practice game this morning and he could return to action on Saturday against America.
The tactician will now use the next few days to assess his options, given that the marauding Zambrotta can play both as a full-back on the right and left.
Meanwhile, Castellacci has ruled out any significant problems for Francesco Totti after the knock he picked up against the Africans.
?e suffered a slight twist to his knee, but there are no problems and we are tranquil,? he continued. ?e?l be fine for the immediate future.?
The Azzurri now have just one injury problem to resolve in the form of dynamic midfielder Gennaro Gattuso.
?e? working hard to get back,? added the medic. ?e?l undergo more tests on Wednesday. We are going forward with caution, yet with optimism.?
Gattuso, who picked up a thigh strain in a friendly with Switzerland, may miss the entire group phase. |

italy kalo guna zambrotta dgn oddo bagi aku tak sesuai..formation 4-3-3 ni sebenarnya membuka byk ruang kosong kat midfield..jadi kalo full back dua2 offensive punya style bagi aku agak merbahaya utk italy..sebab tu lippi prefer zaccardo pasal oddo more attacking dari zaccardo..kalo nak pakai oddo kena tunggu gattuso main la... |

apa kata main stail sweeper.Nesta nearest bole jd sweeper.Sebabnyer si cannovaro ni bole score kalau ada dead ball situation.

of course albertini 'the aggressor'... robbie baggio - the penalty miss of final 94 ... paolo maldini.. the great defender.. gianluca pagliuca-goalkeeper..

pippo memang banyak offside, no doubt..
tapi kalau pippo berada dalam situasi mcm gila or toni dlm game vs ghana aritu, kemungkinan besar dia akan skor..
pippo memang berbisa dalam kotak penalti, itu kelebihan dia..

off course laa aku ingat... aku rasa 1994 was my football crazy peak... dan aku rasa every single game Italy masih segar dlm kepala... dari 1st game yg kalah.. sampai lah ke final against Brazil...in fact both team Italy and Brazil were 3 times winner at that time..so Brazil tak bole nak kerek sgt time tu...:kerek:
i remember 1994 for many reasons... Italian squad has AC Milan written all over it.. 7 atau 8 player AC ada dlm squad.. Baresi was the captain... although we lost at the early stage.. but there was deputy Maldini.. Probably Maldini was at his best... virtually tak ade team yg mampu nak lepas belah kanan... not even Brazil...
RBaggio the savior.. his namesake Dino.. Marchegiani our 2nd choice keeper... young Albertini... poor Zola yg kena sent off tak sampai 10 minit...
sayang Arigo Sacchi ada problem dgn Signori... if only Signori main masa final tu maybe results dia lain...  |

syg si baggio miss penalti that year.
Anyway this year Italy walaupun tak sekuat 94, tp italy have a very good combination
Kalo dulu berasi and maldini, sekarang cannovaro dan nesta.
dulu ada Donadoni dan Dino, sekarang ada Gattuso dan Pirlo
Dulu Roberto Baggio sekarang Totti
