A simple question I think you`ll agree.

After sitting through coverage of the Community Shield I`m now waiting for the deluge of jibes to hit my desk in the office tomorrow morning suggesting that United have won yet another trophy making it three in quick succession.

The fact that, once again, the destination of a trophy has been decided by the lottery of a penalty shoot-out will have deluded them.

It`s beginning to grate though; it seems that unless you wear red you`ve no chance of nicking a club trophy in any competition.

Is red a lucky colour?

First we had Liverpool making it Five Times courtesy of the twelve yard lottery, then they repeated the same feat in a Champions League semi-final, then we had United making it Three Times in Moscow and now they`ve retained the Community Shield with the losing side yet again bedecked in blue.

Does anyone remember the red shirts we wore very briefly back in the late eighties / early nineties when colour clashes prevented us wearing our normal second kit?

I`m all for bringing it back if only to banish the possible blues of another penalty shoot-out that seems to favour those in red!

and to those of manu fans who said that vds,i think vds have proved it again, and at the age of 38 he's still going strong if real and spanish fans think casillas and torres should win ballon d'ore, i think vds should be there for the contention as well and don't forget david villa cause spain couldn't make it without him

will he stay and 'fight' for the no 1 position, which he will NEVER win as long as vds is still around or will he go on loan for another season and show capello what he's capable of

he'll get his chance.. no worry.. at 23/24 he is still young for a goalkeeper.. VDS pun dah 38, mungkin dia pun akan injed from time to time.. harap2 foster boleeh bersabar.. jgn jadi mcm richard wright dulu.. tak sabar, end up career dia mcm tu ajer..
