Mud and manure is not in their diet list, but just like humans, pig may consume muds and manure if forced, just to survive.

Pigs don't have sweat glands so to keep cool, the pigs use muds and water as a tool to keep their temperature low.

There are people who keep pigs as pet. Pigs don't sweat and clean pigs don't smell.

These tapeworms are found in human intestines with greater frequency in nations where pigs are eaten. This type
of tapeworm can pass through the intestines and affect many other organs, and is incurable once it reaches beyond
a certain stage. One in six people in the US and Canada has RICHINOSIS from eating trichina worms, which are
found in pork. Many people have NO SYMPTOMS after having pork. When they do have any sickness in long term,
they resemble symptoms of many other illnesses. These worms are NOT noticed during meat inspections.

pig is not the only sorce of transmitting tapeworm virus. Tape worm can also be transmitted by consuming fish and also muslims's favorite beef.

Virus does not discriminate... it attacks from any place, from wherever its able to penetrate.

There are more common disease in cows... apart from the Mad Cow disease and Tapeworm infection.

Foot and Mouth Disease is one.

Same can be said with beef,mutton,fish,and whatever meat source available out there...

You should know that pigs are domesticated animals and bred for the purpose of food consumpton(same as cows and etc)..If you want to worry about pork,you might as well be wary of fish,seafood and their likes...
