[ARTICLE] 151216 Kim Seul Gi said she worked hard to get close to Doojoon before filming 'Splash Splash LOVE'
During the recent press conference for ’Splash Splash LOVE,’ Kim Seul Gi revealed that she made a lot of effort to get closer to Doojoon before they began filming.
When asked about working with Doojoon, she said, “I was really happy. [Just talking about it] makes me instantly smile. I worked hard [to get close to him] beforehand because [the drama is] of a melo genre. I searched Doojoon on the internet and found out he was known to be impenetrable (as in build up a wall around him). I wanted to get along better with Doojoon, so before filming, I went looking for him at a B2ST concert to greet him. While holding a slice of cake, I asked of him, ‘Please look after me well. Please do not build up a wall.’ I wonder if the results were good because we got close [after that].”

[ARTICLE] 160104 BEAST spends a wonderful new year with 3000 fans in Guangzhou
BEAST has successfully wrapped up their first overseas activity of the year, after meeting fans in Guangzhou over the new year.
The group held their ‘BEAUTIFUL SHOW IN CHINA 2015-2016’ on January 2nd, where they met local fans. This followed their Shanghai performance last December, as they met over 3,000 fans in Guangzhou this time round, and also ushered in the new year with them.
The concert was part of the group’s world tour, and was a continuation of the group’s ‘BEAUTIFUL SHOW 2015’ brand. The Guangzhou concert was the group’s first in the city, where BEAST drew much cheers and applause from fans throughout.
BEAST begun with ‘YeY’ before going on to perform ‘We Up,’ ‘Shock,’ ‘Shadow,’ and other hit songs. In total, the group performed 22 songs which were all done live. In addition, the members also performed solo stages, and also celebrated member Yoseob’s birthday on stage, and was a great fanservice to the local fans.
BEAST said at the end, “We are really delighted to be celebrating the new year with our fans in China. We hope that this will be the start of many opportunities for us to meet with fans here. BEAST then waved goodbye to fans, and blessed fans that they will have a good 2016 ahead, and wrapped up the concert.
Meanwhile, BEAST will represent Korea at the upcoming ‘Weibo Night’ awards ceremony on January 7th in Beijing.

YOON DOO JOON BINTANG ACTOR-DOL YANG MENINGKAT NAIK
Sebut sahaja kumpulan Beast, pasti ramai yang terbayangkan enam jejaka terhangat yang berasal dari Korea Selatan ini. Beast yang bermaksud Boys of East Asia Standing Tall dianggotai oleh Yoon Doo Joon, Jang Hyung Seung, Yong Jung Hyung, Yang YoSeob, Lee GikKwangdan Son Dong Woon telah ditubuhkan pada 2009 di bawah naungan Cube Entertainment. Pasti saat ini, lagu-lagu seperti Shock, Bad Girl, On Rainy Days, Fiction, Shadow, Good Luck dan yang terbaru Yey terngiang-ngiang di cuping telinga anda. Namun begitu, kumpulan Beast bukanlah topic utama dalam penceritaan ini.Penceritaan ini akan lebih focus kepada ketua kumpulan tersebut iaitu Yoon Doo Joon.
Yoon Doo Joon dilahirkan pada 4 Julai1989 .Pernah dinobatkan sebagai national boyfriend-dol dan kini dikenali sebagai actor-dol. Cita-cita asal beliau adalah untuk menjadi physical trainer, tetapi selepas menonton program Big Bang di MTV sambil memakan tonkatsu telah membuat beliau ingin menjadi seorang penyanyi. Bertitik tolak saat itu, Dujun telah menyertai pertandingan mencari bintang baru anjuran JYP dan telah memenangi tempat ke-3.
Dujun juga telah berpeluang menyertai program reality Hot Blooded Men yang mana hasil daripada program tersebut akan membentuk kumpulan 2AM dan 2PM. Nasib tidak menyebelahi Dujun yang mana dia telah disingkirkan dan akhirnya dia telah menyertai Cube Entertainment sebagai rapper dan penari latar Lee Gik Wang menerusi lagu Wipe The Tears bersama Jun Hyung.
Pada tahun 2009, Beast ditubuhkan dan Dujun sebagai ketua kumpulan tersebut. Selain menyanyi, Dujun juga pernah menjadi dj radio untuk 2 minggu, pengacara, model video clip G.Na untuk lagu I’ll Back Off So You Can Live Better, bintang bola sepak idol dan juga seorang pelakon yang berbakat besar.
Kerjaya lakonan Dujun bermula selepas casting untuk program sitcom di MBC iaitu ‘More Charming By The Day’ sebagai ‘guest role’sebagai captain base ball bs]ersama krystal Jung padatahun 2010.
Seterusnya Dujun diberi tawaran menyertai sitcom bersiri All My Love sebanyak 210 episode disamping antaranya Jo Kwon (2AM), Yoon Seun Ah, Park Mi Sun, Jun Ho Bin dan lain-lain. Menceritakan relationship between dua keluarga yang ala-ala Cinderella story. Miskin tapi baik hati dan kaya tapi sombong. Anggota kumpulan Beast iaitu Lee Gikwang dan juga Uee juga membuat cameo dalam siri ini. Drama ini juga menampilkan Beast sebagai penyanyi lagu soundtrack.
Menerusi sitcom ni, Dujun telah memenangi Rookie Comedy Award di MBC Entertainment Award pada tahun 2010.
Tahun berikutnya Dujun kembali berlakon sebagai guest role (Ep.6) untuk drama A Thousand Kisses dan juga drama I Live in Cheongdam-dong. Kesemua drama yg dibintangi Dujun untuk tahun 2010-2011 menggunakan nama beliau sendiri iaitu Yoon Doo Joon.

Pada tahun 2012 Dujun telah membintangi filem sequel Marrying the Mafia 5 – Return Of The Family disamping Sung Dong Il, Jung Jun Hoo, Kwanghee, Yoo Dong Geun, Son Na Eundan lain-lain. This film banyak menampilkan idol mcm Dujun beast, kwanghee Ze:A dan Son Na Eun (A-Pink) as park of marketing strategy. Dujun memegang watak sebagai Jang Young Min anak kepada bekas gangster yang telah berubah menjadi baik tapi kejahatan lama menghantui keluarga mereka sehingga effect kepada keluarga mereka.
Watak Young Min yang dilakonkan oleh Dujun juga menggambarkan beliau dari keluarga gangster apabila seringkali terlibat dalam pergaduhan (bergaduh dengan geng kwanghee) demi untuk melindungi Son Na Eun. Tapi filem ni makan masa untuk dapat yg ada subs and one more thing even this film got the good review from some, but it’s not too exposed like the previous 4 film. Dujun akhirnya mendapat tawaran berlakon dalam sequel drama korea IRIS 2 –Love and War disamping pelakon-pelakon hebat seperti Jang Hyuk, Lee Dae Hee, Lee Bum Soo, Lee Joon dan lain-lain. Slot drama ini bersiaran di KBS. Membawakan watak sebagai Seo Hyun Woo - A confident, bright agent who is adept at everything including shooting, martial arts, code breaking, and foreign languages. He has been in love with Soo-yeon from the beginning.
Lakonan Dujun dalam drama IRIS 2 – Love and War mendapat perhatian ramai kerana dibarisi oleh pelakon yang hebat. Walaupun masih tidak mendapat kepuasan netizen tetapi Dujun mendapat pujian. During the press conference for KBS 2TV idol special of ‘Love and War’, Executive Producer Yoon ChanBun praised Doojoon for his superb acting skills by saying "He is very good at acting, he delivers his lines perfectly and viewers are able to receive the meaning of it. Rookie actors usually get advises from the director about delivering tone but Doojoon didn't receive any, proving that he is a good actor" .
Sikap humble dan sangat menghormati orang lain membuatkan orang disekeliling seronok bekerja dengan beliau. Kumpulan Beast yang dianggotai oleh Dujun juga telah diberikan peluang untuk merakam lagu tema drama tersebut yang bertajuk “Black Paradise”.

Tahun 2013 juga telah membuka peluang Dujun untuk lead the drama. Beliau ditawarkan berlakon sebagai pelakon utama drama Let’s Eat/ Shiksyareul Habshida sebanyak 16 episode yang bersiaran di Tv cable TVN. Dujun digandingkan bersama Lee Soo Kyung, Shim HyungTak, Yoon Soo Heed an yang lain.
Dalam drama ini Dujun membawa watak sebagai Goo Dae Young seorang blogger makanan (Mr. Shiksya) yg terkenal. Let's Eat depicts the daily life and romance of a single woman and a murder case occurs in her neighborhood. Lee Soo-Kyung is a 33-year-old single woman. She divorced when she was in her 20's and now lives alone. She always wants to carry herself with dignity, but she loses self-control when she is near gourmet foods. Koo Dae-Young is a gourmet, especially talented with describing the taste of foods. He often lies when he opens his mouth, but he is usually considerate to others.
First thing first, tgk drama ni memang akan lapar, confirm. Lakonan Dujun dalam Let’s Eat memang sangat natural and how he describe the food was so amazing. He did successfully make you feel the actual taste of the food together with him.

Meskipun tidak dicalonkan untuk apa-apa award, tp lakonan beliau semakin mendapat perhatian ramai. Rating drama let’s eat yang memberangsangkan dan sambutan dari peminat membuatkan director Park berhasrat untuk membuat sequel let’s eat, iaitu Let’s Eat 2. Dengan mengekalkan Dujun sebagai watak utama yang satu-satunya masih kekal, beliaudigandingkan pula bersama Soo Hyun Jin, Kwon Yul dan lain-lain.
Istimewanya drama ini menampilkan salah seorang anggota Beast, Yang YoSeob membuat cameo di episode 16 yg melakonkan watak kawan kepada Goo Dae Yong. Gayoon dari 4minute juga membuat cameo sebagai kawan kepada Kwon Yul. Masih mengekalkan tema makanan, namun skop cerita ini diperluaskan lagi.dengan tema cinta 3 segi, kekeluargaan dan kejiranan.

Menerusi drama ini juga Dujun mendapat pujuan dari PD. Producer Park JoonHwa complimented Doojoon, saying, "Doojoon, who's returned as Goo Dae Young after a year, is truly Goo Dae Young as is. Doojoon has really led the filming perfectly with his more matured acting skills and perfect character to the point he worked in harmony with the production crew so that there were no need for suggestions or requests."

Ekoran Let’s Eat 2 ada special siri yang bertajuk Let’s Eat With My Friend. Pengambaran dilakukan di Spain.Konsep adalah santai but more to friendship, travel and of course food. Setakat ni xjumpa lagi yg ada sub. Jadi nak tgk jugak.. tgk yg raw dan buat-buat paham je..
“Let’s Eat With My Friend” is a variety show spin-off from the drama “Let’s Eat 2″ which starred Doojoon and Seo Hyun Jin. They bring their friends Yoseob and Park Hee Bon to travel with them to Spain to try different types of food. Kim JiHoon and Kim Hee Jung also join them in their travel.
Sebelum menutup tahun baru 2015, Dujun telah membintangi web drama yang dibawakan oleh MBC network. Ini merupakan pioneer projek bagi MBC dalam menerbitkan web drama. “Splash Splash LOVE” atau Pondang Pondang Love is centered around the concept of time slips, where a high school student Dan Bi (Kim Seul Gi) has the ability to teleport wherever she wants when it rains. The drama unfolds as she meets the Joseon king Lee Do (Yoon Doo Joon). Dan Bi bagaimanapun berputus asa untuk mempelajari subjek Math untuk mengambil CSAT (Collage Scholastic Ability Test). Dan-Bi can't deal with the pressure and runs off to a playground. Without knowing why, she goes into a puddle and finds herself transported to the Joseon period. She then falls in love with Lee Do, the young king who is in a difficult situation due to droughts and the spread of an epidemic.

[ARTICLE] 160108 BEAST wins Most Popular Asian Group award at ‘2015 Weibo Night’
The ‘2015 Weibo Night’ was held last night (January 7th) at Beijing’s Traders Hotel, where BEAST represented Korea and picked up the Most Popular Asian Group award.
‘Weibo Night’ seeks to recognize the most talked about music, film and TV stars of the year on China’s largest social networking site Weibo. Celebrities who turned up yesterday night also included Lee Kwang Soo, Song Ji Hyo, Gary, as well as Chinese stars like Zhang Ziyi, Fan Bingbing, Stephen Chow, and Jack Ma of Alibaba Group.
BEAST also performed ‘Good Luck’ and ‘YeY’ on the night. BEAST had primarily centered their activities in the Chinese market lat year, and even topped the YinYueTai V chart. They are currently on their ‘Beautiful Show in China 2015~2016’ concert tour.
