Go Kyung Pyo Transforms Into Mysterious Ghost Writer For Upcoming tvN Drama

Actor Go Kyung Pyo has transformed into a ghost writer for tvN’s upcoming drama, “Chicago Typewriter” (tentative title).

On March 15, the “Chicago Typewriter” staff revealed a photo from the drama shoot on Instagram.

Above anything else, Go Kyung Pyo’s visual transformation stands out. He is wearing a classic suit and looks as handsome as ever. The thick fog paints a mysterious atmosphere as well, which goes perfectly with his role as a ghost writer.

Meanwhile, “Chicago Typewriter” is set in the 1930s and tells the story of resistance writers under the Japanese imperialists who have reincarnated. It is slated to air in April.

Kwak Si Yang To Star Opposite Yoo Ah In For tvN’s “Chicago Typewriter”

n March 23, actor Kwak Si Yang’s management agency, Starhaus Entertainment, released a statement saying, “Kwak Si Yang will be taking on the role of popular writer Baek Tae Min in the upcoming drama ‘Chicago Typewriter,’ which will air on April 7.”

Kwak Si Yang’s character Baek Tae Min is a writer who is as equally gifted as Yoo Ah In’s character Han Se Joo. The two are both acknowledged as the nation’s most valued and charismatic writers; however, Kwak Si Yang’s character is also a jealous rival of Yoo Ah In’s character, much like how Antonio Salieri was jealous of Mozart in the film “Amadeus.”

The actor explained why he chose this role and said, “The story is very exciting and the subject matter is unusual. Plus, each character has their own unique story that really brings them to life.”
