bitcoin is a scam.
the desire to get out of the imperfections of modern finance makes ppl lap up scams like bitcoin.
"finite number to be mined"; "algo unbreakable".
1. anything is breakable. Internet started to provide open platform for knowledge. Open. repeat: Open.
2. finite number = from a program. one smart ass outthere has got the master key.
field: investment bank activity - competitive environment, sunset industry but we dont leverage on the bank's balance sheet.
daya saing for SMEs?
1. Accept the fact the world does not revolve around them. I have a problem with most SMEs. most SMEs towkay truly believes it is ok for them to change their mesidis every 3 yrs but to give RM 50 increment to staff is unthinkable.
2. Problem with SMEs: Dependent on protection / lobbying / help from gomen. Muar furniture makers: one go 30,000 permits to myanmar/bangla/nepal.
- What happened to locals? why dont employ locals?
- Why so self centred to not see the multipler effect that can be generated by employing locals?
- Why so stupid obsessed with the 4% factor (wages) to production cost? If the elements of raw materials, energy, utilities, are the heavy items to cost but not under control; then work on circumventing it. Minimise it. Creativity. Efficiency. Motion study analysis. Logistics revamp.
Its nauseating when malaysian businessmen keep on harping on labour (4-5% of their total cost) and redha on everything else. But they go ranting here and there and everywhere about it.
btw; businessman = bodoh, self centred, but good for them they make money for themselves. Just that mcm lintah, bloodsuckers which we dont really need. they type that pay for political patronage to create artificial barriers to competition and such.
Entrepenuers = this is what we want. Creative, value adding. Always on the lookout to be more efficient and productive. Dont mind paying for technology and automation and moving labour to other activities.
and dont be fooled, malaysia banyak stupid businessmen but think so highly of themselves that they think they're entrepenuers. |

What a write up 
Breakable bitcoin doesnt justify your scam theory...any internet banking site we have today is breakable, even US military site is breakable, it is just the matter of effort, resources and risk of getting caught being put into breaking them. Are you aware that our bank negara is also assessing the practicability of bitcoin? maybe it's just a show to follow the modern trend. As far as embracing change you stressed earlier, bitcoin will make the biggest breakthrough in the financial industry, although I don't really into this "scam", I'm optimistic about its potential.
Our SME has lots of problems...I have no disagreement about the salary raise and stingyness. In fact many of the Chinese businessman behave so simply because they see every RM they make is hardearned money. Tychoon like Vincent Tan could be more generous though.
Doubling trade by exporting into China within the DFTZ is clearly missleading, we will be lossing our market share to China goods for sure, it is already happening anyway. DFTZ is justmaking the process faster, at least by 50%. Well, this could be the best opportunity for me to engage more SME into digitizing their business, but it is going to be a long drought for the SMEs, perhaps the longest one.

exactly. jack ma tak perlukan malaysian market pun, terlalu kerdil bagi dia.
tapi apa yg author kata ni tak benar dari segi kos dan daya persaingan.
1st: kos pengeluaran di china tidak murah lagi
2nd: barangan buatan malaysia dilihat sbg barangan import dgn premium kualiti di china, mmg ada pasaran tersendiri. |

point ko terlalu lemah. mcm tak ada point langsung. sebab mmg tak logik.
kenapa melayu paling byk impak dan cina paling kurang? cuba ko elaborate lagi.
impak digital commerce yg paling obvious ni tak mengira kaum langsung, tapi paling obvious kpd tradisional business yg buka kedai.
kenapa saya cakap mcm tu?
owner perlu sewa kedai kpd businessman utk buka kedainya. owner dapat untung drp sewa, businessman dpt keuntungan drp hasil jualannya minus kos sewa dll...
pasal harga properties melambung naik, kos sewa pun naik...dan businessman perlu transfer tanggungan dia kpd consumers --> harga retail makin mahal....
tapi melalui internet, yg paling obvious ialah kos sewa yg berat boleh diabaikan, dgn ni, harga barang boleh lebih rendah dan competitive...
jadi yg untungnya ialah end consumers, tak kira bangsa.
yg paling rugi: owner dan tradisional businessman yg biasanya ialah cina, totally opposite of wht u claimed! |

Impaknya untung tokey-tokey cina akan berkurangan lah. Tapi, apa salahnya kan, tokey-tokey cina dah lama sangat untung. Sampai masa kena give way to consumers la pulak.
