PLOT
Following the conclusion of Split, David Dunn pursues Kevin Wendell Crumb's superhuman persona of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters while the shadowy presence of Elijah Price, going by "Mr. Glass", emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.[8]
When M. Night Shyamalan delivered what might have been his biggest twist yet – that ‘Split’ was set in the same universe as superhero movie ‘Unbreakable’ – fans went wild; when it was revealed he was making a following it up with a film that would bring David Dunn (Bruce Willis), Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy), and the villainous Elijah Glass (Samuel L. Jackson) together, they basically lost their s—t.
‘Glass’ sees the three “enhanced” humans thrown together in a psychiatric hospital, their treatment overseen by Dr. Ellie Staple (Sarah McAvoy); as the title suggests, it’s Mr. Glass who gets the film’s chaos started. In this oral history of the highly anticipated project, Shyamalan and the cast recall how the success of ‘Split’ and ‘Unbreakable’ led to ‘Glass,’ what it was like to reunite on set (for some) and work with new faces (for others), and what fans can expect when the heroes and villains assemble.
For Shyamalan, who made ‘Unbreakable’ at a time when superhero movies were out of favor, returning to the genre at a time when it dominates pop culture, was a challenge – and a thrill.

Patutla filem split tu blh dapat roi sampai 2000% dr budgetnya sbb jln cite n lakonan dari semua pelakon mmg mantap n cite glass ni pun sama n mmg blh dpt mcm tu untungnya ngan budget 20 juta dollar je. James McAvoy mmg superb.. Harap le ada sambungan cite glass ni wlaupun ni final installment diorg cakap.
i have to agree with u, mmg Split tu high quality entertainment...yes lakonan mantap, plot pun menarik, it gave me the creeps!

Bagi aku bosan cter ni jln cter slow plot twist pun mcm x menjadi sgt. James tu lakonan mcm over jer... aku tgk cter ni teringat Jumper, diorg buru mnusia yg ada superpower sbb mnusia xleh ada kuasa tuhan... tp jumper jln cter 100 kali ganda lg best. Aku bg 1/5 je
Dah tengok. Macam mana nak cakap eh? Nak kata tak best memang ada sedikit tak best. Nak kata best pun boleh jua sebab I love the twist actually. So I'm kinda in between la pasal movie ni.
Tapi semestinya Unbreakable & Split bertiang lagi best. Unbreakable memang my favourite la sebab boleh rasa originality & aku rasa that is how real a superhero movie should/will ever be. Split best sebab James's acting superb giler.
Glass ni tak boleh nak cakap secara concrete apa yg best. Basically this movie cuma nak bagi tahu yg Mr Glass hold everything in his hand. Semuanya dalam rancangan dia all along. He's definitely the mastermind.
Tapi itu la banyak jua benda yg blh dipersoalkan dalam citer ni. Like, takkan dalam 19 tahun just 3 org yg ada superpower je muncul kan? Society Dr Ellie Staple tu pon macam tak concrete je alasan kewujudan dia - like seriously takkan nak hapuskan superhero sebab tak nak dunia imbalance je kut. And watak Casey tu tak ada pon tak apa. Motip dia nak tolong/jumpa/be there for org yg pernah culik dia? Memang la end up dia tak kena bunuh but still her special bond dgn Kevin tu rasa a little bit fabricated.
Yg lain2, iols sangat tak puas hati dengan nasib David Dunn. Dah la he's my favourite . So Mr. Night there's better be a sequence to Glass or I won't watch your movie ever again okay
p.s Aku suka how they use the same actor for watak Joseph. Dari budak tu kecik dalam Unbreakable, dah besar dah dalam Glass ni. Lama gila dah Unbreakable tu.

unbreakable mmg best dan deep skit mesej die, dlm movie tu mr glass ada ideologi, kalau ada manusia yg fragile mcm die, sentuh skit pun patah sana sini, mesti ada manusia yg kuat giler iaitu dunn.

plot movie ni simple je.. mr glass manipulate beast dan bruce willis utk dedahkan kewujudan superheroes mcm diorang.. sesuai dengan tajuk movie ni, glass la yg bijak plan segalanya dan jadik mastermind.. dan ada satu pertubuhan rahsia ni nak hapuskan diorang dengan alasan taknak kacau balance dan ketenteraman dunia..katanya selama ni ok je n dunia tak perlukan manusia luar biasa ni
dalam 19 tahun 3 superhero ni je yg difokuskan.. ada lagi sebenarnya di bandar lain seperti yg disebut oleh Dr ellie
pertengahan cerita banyak scenes silih berganti.. baru nak warm up dengan satu scene, masuk pulak scene lain.. editing mcm ni membuatkan sesetengah part rasa mcm agak dragged dan sesetengah penonton jadi agak bosan.. sampai ada yg bukak phone dan main game kejap dalam hall tadi hahaa
apapun lakonan 3 watak utama memang kekuatan utama movie ni.. terutama sekali sudah tentu la james mcavoy.. bukan setakat memek muka dan intonasi suara.. body language pun menjadi sangat mengikut watak2 split dia..
watak david dunn ditonjolkan sekuat beast, malahan at times lebih kuat dari beast.. dia lah superhero sebenar sebab dia gunakan kelebihan dia utk tolong orang, tapi dianggap membawa kemusnahan oleh authority
watak mr glass pulak awal2 ditonjolkan lemah dan sangat helpless.. tapi akhirnya dia la yg paling power sebab bijak..
movie ni tak ada banyak action sangat.. tapi still mesti ditonton untuk pengikut series ni..
