Fiorentina soccer club supporters react outside Florence's stadium, central Italy, Friday July 14, 2006. An Italian sports tribunal which wrapped up its work on the Italian soccer scandal Friday, demoted Juventus soccer club to Serie B for match-fixing Friday and stripped it of its last two Serie A titles. Lazio and Fiorentina also were demoted to the second division. AC Milan was spared demotion but was given a 15-point penalty in the top division and will not play in European tournaments this season.

Four Serie A clubs, including champion Juventus and Fiorentina, awaited verdicts Friday in a match-fixing scandal that could lead to their relegation to lower divisions. Prosecutors are seeking the demotion of Juventus to third-tier Serie C or lower, and of AC Milan, Fiorentina and Lazio to Serie B. They also are seeking to strip Juventus, the club at the center of the scandal, of the league titles it won the past two seasons. The Italian soccer federation said the verdicts were expected Friday after 7 p.m. local time
