what a game tonight, between the cowboys and the bills. the bills should have won the game, but the boys just kept fighting. dick jauron made bad decision by going with prevent defense in the last 5 minutes in the 4th qtr. they should keep on attacking dallas offense, instead of sitting back and let romo finds his receivers.

the last 20 seconds was the worst. dallas just need a field goal to win the game and buffalo just let them kept gaining yardage by playing prevent defense. if you let romo sits back in the pocket, he'll find somebody open. what a crushing defeat for buffalo, playing their first monday night game in 13 years (their last superbowl year, when jim kelly still quarterbacking the team).

SAN FRANCISCO -- Add the New York Giants and Arizona Cardinals to the list of surprise teams five weeks into the NFL season.

And don't forget about those resurgent Washington Redskins and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Three of the NFC's oldest franchises joined the Jags in celebrating renewal in Week 5. Each is having just enough fun to qualify as dangerous.

Last night MNF was indeed one of the coolest game. Romo was intercepted 5 times but Cowboys won!

packers need to get their running game going. if not, teams will just play nickel defense when they face the pack (they will dare the pack to beat them by running the ball) - as great as favre is, he can't do it all and football is still a team game.

this reminded me of 1995 49ers team, after they won their fifth superbowl title. ricky watters left the team and they put derek loville at tailback. opponents just play nickel defense to counter the passing game of steve young and put only 5 in the box, and the niners still can't run the ball well. it was a really tough year for the team, especially for young. he was out for a few games because opponents will just kept blitzing.

the Packs pulled another thriller for their fans, coming from behind to beat the Redskins. Farve broke another record to be the INT king of all time. Packs' offence sputtered again but the defence made up their score to 17-14.

mintak2 Farve stay healthy and the offence find their ryhtm again

Crowder Learns He Won抰 Need Translator in London

Maybe he was joking, but gregarious Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder confessed today he didn抰 know until Tuesday that people spoke English in London.

Crowder, a former Florida Gator and Atlanta native, apparently isn抰 sure where the plane is headed when it takes off this afternoon for Sunday抯 game against the New York Giants in Wembley Stadium.

揑 couldn抰 find London on a map if they didn抰 have the names of the countries,

- early trade forecast -

Early Market Watch

    By Charles Robinson
    Yahoo! Sports
    October 25, 2007

Link to original article

If DeAngelo Hall hadn't forced himself onto the trading block before this week, he may have finished the job Wednesday.

As several high-profile players have been the recent subjects of trade speculation, including Cincinnati's Chad Johnson and Miami's Jason Taylor, Hall criticized the Atlanta Falcons for cutting defensive tackle Grady Jackson earlier this week. The comments, coming less than a month after he was fined $100,000 for a sideline tirade directed at Falcons coach Bobby Petrino, could be the wedge that ultimately forces the franchise to deal their prized cornerback.

In a candid interview with reporters at the Falcons' practice facility, Hall called the team's decision to single out Jackson for poor play "asinine", "ridiculous" and "ludicrous." They were the sharpest words yet from Hall this season, in which the Falcons have gone 1-6 and seemingly been in a spiral since quarterback Michael Vick's offseason federal indictment and subsequent guilty plea on dog-fighting charges.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Hall also concurred with a statement made by tight end Alge Crumpler that the coaching staff was minimizing the role of veteran players this season.

While general manager Rich McKay said earlier this month that the Falcons weren't interested in moving Hall next offseason, this latest barrage may be cause for new consideration. It's clear Hall has been unhappy with his contract since Nate Clements landed a deal potentially worth $80 million from the San Francisco 49ers in the latest round of free agency.

One source close to Hall even raised the possibility that the cornerback would hold out of training camp until he got a new deal. That never materialized, and Hall has since appeared to be unhappy for a variety of reasons. A former Falcons player now with another team said the cornerback felt the franchise "kicked Mike (Vick) when he was down," and that he has never been on the same page as Petrino.

"He's not feeling (Petrino)," the player told Yahoo! Sports this week. "They're not even talking. Not at all, nothing. (DeAngelo) was already pissed about his (contract) and then they fined him and that was pretty much the last straw for any relationship."

Asked if Hall was still expressing a desire to be traded behind closed doors, the player replied, "If the Denver Broncos found a way to make it happen with Champ (Bailey), DeAngelo knows (the Falcons) can find a way to make it happen."

After Wednesday, it looks more likely than ever. But Hall likely won't be the only big name on the block this offseason. Here is a look at seven other players who could find their way into trade talks this offseason.

brett favre... he's done it again! what a throw! what a throw! what a throw to end the game on the first play in OT against the broncos in denver, on national spotlight, while his team committing lots of penalties.

this guy is one of the best ever to play the qb position. he owns all time td record, he's durable (never miss a game in his career), he's got a cannon arm, very humble, and he's got a beautiful wife.

tonight, he crushed the heart of the fans in denver (done it too many times against my niners and steve young), the night after they just lost the world series to the red sox. i'm not a packer fan but i'm rooting for favre to make it all the way. he deserves it. hopefully, he'll play again next season.

Yup, farve was sooo awesome last night. This year definitely belongs to farve

I'm so happy broncos lost, now bolts and chiefs are 4-3. Hopefully bolts will play like they played the last 3 games, throughout the season.
