How can there be peace of mind when after prayers, they talk about death to non muslims in mosque? |

and for your information, an Imam(leader) of prayer can choose suitable Surah to be recited...

Personally Deb, have you been to a mosque before?, heard about it personally and ask the learned scholars in the mosque regarding questions that you do not fully understand or you just sat outside the mosque, heard the khattib speech and lastly make a conclusion based on your observation per se?
We are not a monster as you think. Try to ask the learned muslims when you see any recited Surahs which on your point of view encourage terrorism. Take my word for it that those Surahs are nothing more than the urges for muslims to always aware and able to protect themselves. Its mainly a warning to muslims not to be oppressed by others and self protection.
And lastly, please don't go to any Islamophobia websites to seek your answer...surely you'll find the answer you want but is it a true and sincere answer from those who hate Islam so much and prejudice muslims worldwide? Ask yourself whether you want to be an understanding and peace loving person (regardless of your religion) or you want to be like those people who fills their heart with hatred and prejudice towards Islam all their life and refuse to hear any explainantion no matter how logical it is. I'm sure you're an educated person and you can evaluate my message.

if muslim bow 5 times a day so what? your bank account lost money? you get hurt? your wife runs away?

I can question why chinese's belief have to burn papers during Ghost festival? isn't it contaminating the environment and their actions such outdated as if they never learn the ecosystem in Biology? Hence after their ceremony they hope bandaraya to clean the roadside for them.... Why you never questioned them?
I can question why indian during thaiposum or whatsoever they have to parade alongside the main road until causing incovenience to the trafic? some i notice in Singapore they even throw coconut shield onto the road during parade and why this never been issued out by the Singapore police?
I also can question why hindus worshiping statues that made from clays by human own hands? Shouldn't the human be the "God" instead? Why have to pray to a stone to grant for wishes?

Isn't it death is the best reminder?
at least muslim we believe akhirat and we should be well-prepared before we are dead. Even we don't know when is our death.
do you think that enjoying the world without remembering death is the most peaceful mind ever?
Islam emphasizes hereafter and current life, so what about other religions? only entertainment, fun, enjoy, eat, drinking, toto, Magnum and so on? |
