Agent: Juventus can't afford Chelsea's Lampard
Frank Lampard's agents says a move to Juventus for the Chelsea midfielder is unlikely.

actually its weird to see juve spending tonnes of monies masa transfer campaign. it's so not juve-style. :hmm: our style is (with the exception of buffon), buy cheap/free, naikkan value player tu (ala nedved) n sell expensively. |

REAL WANT TO SNATCH ROBBEN :cak: :cak:
Posted 07/06/07 12:40
Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has claimed he's in talks to sign Chelsea's Arjen Robben.
The 23-year-old Dutchman was reportedly close to signing a new deal to keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2012 but now it seems as if a move to Spain is more likely.
"We are in discussions with Chelsea and the player, they are at an early stage but we hope to sign him," Calderon told reporters at the European Parliament in Brussels.
"Bringing Robben was one of my pledges when I was running for president and still remains the case."
In May, Robben said he hoped to remain with the FA Cup winners having refused an approach from German giants Bayern Munich.
Last season, a thigh strain and knee injury kept Robben on the sidelines for several weeks of the campaign. |

LAMPARD LOOKING FORWARD WITH BLUES
Posted 07/06/07 12:23
Frank Lampard has hinted he is ready to remain at Chelsea next season and help them try to reclaim the title.
The England midfielder has two years left of his current deal and negotiations over a new deal are ongoing.
There has been speculation that the ex West-Ham player may opt to buy out the remainder of his contract under FIFA regulations.
But Lampard's enthusiasm about wanting to snatch the Premier League title back from Manchester United in 2007-2008 suggests his commitment to the Blues is not wavering.
He intends to rest up this summer before helping Jose Mourinho's attempt to win the title for the third time in four years.
Lampard said: "I am looking forward to a summer. It's been a very long season. The last few seasons have all been long. I've got a clear month now and I am looking forward to resting a lot.
"I've felt tired at different stages of my career. Sometimes you feel tired at Christmas when you are bogged down with games.
"It's just a matter of resting at the right times and now I've got a good summer.
"But I am looking forward to a good season with Chelsea where we want to win the league next year. It is important we come back firing and do that." |
