The Need for Swimming Pool Fencing

According to Government statistics, accidental drowning is the number one cause of accidental death for children under the age of 5 in California, Arizona and Florida. Pool Fencing is the safest choice to prevent this kind of tragedy.
Pool fences, commonly known as a pool safety fencing or swimming pool fences, are the best form of a 'passive protection babysitter' any home can have. Installing removable mesh fencing can be a child lifesaver by protecting against accidental drowning of children, toddlers, baby and even pets.
Pool safety fences are also known as a 'baby gates' or 'pool barriers' for swimming pools. The relevance is obvious; a baby or toddler is most susceptible to drowning if no safety pool barrier is there to prevent them from falling in. Swimming-pool baby gates should have a gate latch (gate lock), preferably a self locking gate lock mechanism and be up to your local building code. Removable mesh fencing can be temporary, is nearly transparent, protects your swimming pool better than an electronic alarm, and with aluminum construction, will be maintenance free for years.
Pool Guard Manufacturing currently has installers ready to serve you in Florida, Texas, Arizona, Las Vegas Nevada, California, Florida panhandle, Ohio and Puerto Rico. Contact us today to have one of our expert swimming pool fence installers help you protect your loved ones today.
Swimming Pool Barrier Fencing helps prevent accidental drowning as a virtual babysitter for baby and toddlers by completely isolating them from the water with a physical barrier rather than other solutions like electronic alarms or sensors. Having a swimming pool-safety-fence as a kiddie barrier should be an absolute necessity to preventing the accidental drowning of baby, children and pets too!
Different from a Pool-Alarm or Pool CoverOther safety products like a floating alarm or laser alarm only alert you to a potential crisis after a baby or child is in distress. Although much better than alarms, swimming pool covers can fail, making your pool even more dangerous to babies or toddlers. Anyone with a baby knows how quickly little ones can get themselves into trouble - obviously an alert after the fact is unacceptable and is not a real solution to a potentially fatal problem. The safety pool barrier that our pool fencing provides is the safest most complete answer, not a just an electronic, 'after-the-fact', alarm.
Pool Guard's removable pool fencing creates a physical barrier that protects against accidental drowning 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. With Pool Guard, your loved ones are safer, giving you peace of mind while providing extra safety and security.

Patent Pending Self Closing, Removable Key Lockable Pool Safety GateCan now be retrofitted to work with your existing pool fence!
Our swimming pool fencing installations include our patent pending WALK-THRU EASY ACCESS BABY GATE. This self-closing, self-latching gate which is key-lockable for added protection and is also available in multiple colors. Our professional pool fencing installers can place your pool fence gate anywhere you would like for easy access to the pool area. Your baby is safely locked out, while you have easy access.

How to Select a Swimming Pool Builder

Ten Tips to Help Pick a Pool Builder

You have finally decided that you are going to take the plunge (that's a swimming pool pun!) and build a pool in your backyard. You now come face to face with the toughest part of the pool building process. That is, how do you go about sorting out all those pool builders and picking the right one? Here are some tips to help you get organized, and that I hope will assist you in becoming a happy pool owner in the near future.

1. Find some pool builders and review their Web sites. You can find the largest swimming pool builders, with information about their companies and links to their Web sites, here. Look for the styles and designs that appeal to you. Pick out a few pool builders and contact them for an appointment.

2. Make sure the dealer has a CSP Certified Service Professional on staff (the designation cannot be awarded to a company). The National Spa & Pool Institute trains, tests and retests pool service technicians before certifying them as service professionals and designating them as CSP Certified Service Professionals.

3. Ask the pool builder for a list of customer references. Contact those people and ask them how they felt about the entire pool building process, before and after the sale.

4. If the salesperson makes any promises or claims affecting the purchase, construction or warranty of the pool, get it in writing.

5. Don't rush into your decision. Comparison shop. Get bids from competitor companies.

6.  Visit the pool company's office or showroom. Do the employees seem knowledgeable and professional? You will probably be dealing with these people, and, if any problem arises, these are the people who will be handling the issue. Do you get a good feeling from them?

7. Read all the written materials that are provided to you. Don't sign any proposals or contracts until you are sure about the deal.

8. Before contracting with a pool company, check to see that they are licensed with the Registrar of Contractors. Review their complaint record with this agency. Also check the pool builder through the Better Business Bureau. At the BBB Web site it indicates that, "To have a 'Satisfactory Record' with the Bureau, a company must be in business for at least 12 months, properly and promptly address matters referred to it by the Bureau, and be free from an unusual volume or pattern of complaints and law enforcement action involving its marketplace conduct."

9. According to the Better Business Bureau, a contract which has been signed by the customer is not binding on the pool company until signed by an officer of the firm, and its terms are subject to change. The BBB further advises that, "potential customers should be aware that, if they sign a contract at the builder's place of business but do not finance the pool, there may be no recision or three-day cooling off period. The finance contract has a 3 day recision clause, but this does not affect the pool contract. Therefore, customers wishing to cancel the contract may have to pay a penalty of up to $1,500."

10. Beware of any swimming pool contractor who requires a substantial down payment, or who wants high percentages of the contract paid before much work has been done. The Registrar of Contractors provides some standards for payment at their Web site.

Swimming Pool ConstructionFrom Kevin Woodhurst, Precision Pools & Spas
Top 10 Mistakes People Make
If you are considering building a swimming pool,
you have probably heard the horror stories. Before you start wading through volumes of manuals, and have dozens of contractors scheduled to come and give you a free estimate for your swimming pool construction, read the following ten tips. Heeding this simple advice could save you a great deal of aggravation, not to mention money, in the long run. Ten Mistakes People Make When Building a Swimming Pool
  • Shopping like you are buying a car.
Swimming pools are custom construction projects and are built by many individual trades and pool contractors with different standards. All pools are not built the same, unlike an automobile which is manufactured in a factory under controlled conditions. With a swimming pool much of what you do not see will impact the cost of pool ownership.
  • Not asking enough questions.
Do not assume every builder is going to give you an education or is capable of giving you one, for that matter. The more you know and understand the better buyer you will ultimately be. This helps you and your pool contractor. Do your homework. Your resources are endless, so use them!
  • Paralysis by analysis.
This is when someone gets 10-15 or more estimates for swimming pool construction and than cannot make a decision because they have become so confused. Do your due diligence and get 3 or 4 estimates from reputable swimming pool companies. Then make your decision and go with it.
  • Not checking out the experience level, history, or background of a Contractor.
What makes them qualified to build swimming pools? Consider the saying, "If you think the cost of a Professional is expensive, wait until you hire an Amateur."
  • Shopping based on price.
Usually if a deal seems too good to be true, it is! If you shop for price alone you are destined to be disappointed. Bottom line: you usually get what you pay for.
  • Shopping over the phone for a pool.
It is impossible and a waste of time. Visit the swimming pool builder or have them come to your home to provide you with an estimate. Visiting a contractor's place of business will tell you a lot about the type of business it is.
  • Assuming swimming pools cost less to build in the wintertime.
We have seen increases in steel prices, concrete shortages, gas increases, and insurance premium hikes. Pools don't get cheaper as time goes on; swimming pools will never be less expensive than they are today.
  • Not reading contracts.
Make sure you understand what you are getting into. Make sure everything is in writing. It is very difficult to cancel a contract with many contractors after the obligatory 3-day rescission period. The contract should protect you AND the contractor.
  • Focusing on the aesthetics and not the mechanicals of the project.
Hydraulic design, flow rates, pipe size, pump and filter types, chemical management systems, and many other factors will make a difference in the ability of your swimming pool to stay clean and sanitized.
  • Not thinking about safety.
Swimming pools can be a great place to recreate, exercise, and just enjoy the outdoors. They can also be dangerous. Make sure you know what your City requires for barriers and fencing. More importantly, make sure you protect the ones you care for, and protect the ones that cannot protect themselves.

rule of thumb hrga na buat swimming pool ialah dalam rm1200 for every 1meter cube you punya pool. maksudnya kalau luas kolam u 3m X 5m dan dalam 2.1m bersamaan 31.5 meter cube. bermana kos na buat swimming pool adalah 31.5Xrn1200 ....lebih kurang rm38K.
dan be carefull ta semua building contactor bleh buat swimming pool...kalau tak pandai bolih bocor...
