LONDON: Tottenham Hotspur mengaibkan Liverpool dengan kemenangan 2-0 pada saingan Liga Perdana Inggeris di Stadium Anfield, awal pagi tadi.
Gol Spurs diperoleh menerusi Rafael van der Vaart diikuti penalti yang disudahi Luka Modric.
Dengan keputusan itu Spurs memintas di tempat kelima liga manakala Liverpool keenam dengan dipisahkan satu mata.

Jose Reina - 6
Was powerless to keep the Van der Vaart shot and the penalty out, but put in a decent performance for his team between the posts.
John Flanagan - 6.5
The 18 year old's clumsy challenge on Pienaar gave Tottenham a really cheap penalty that was debatably outside the box. Did well in the wide areas and whipped in a couple of good crosses for his strikers.
Jamie Carragher - 7.5
Nothing surprising about his exemplary performance in the game as he tidied up everything at the back for Liverpool.
Martin Skrtel - 6.5
Had a slow start, but did eventually get into the game and matched Crouch in the air.
Glen Johnson - 6.5
Looked somewhat awkward playing at left back and his passes with his left foot were occasionally stray, but he carried out his defensive duties well and kept Lennon quiet for most of the game.
Dirk Kuyt - 6
Was curbed by the energy and determined defending of Rose, barely creating any chance for his team.
Lucas - 5.5
Could not stamp in authority in the middle of the park as Sandro did not give him time and space on the ball.
Jay Spearing (64' off) - 6
Grown in stature over the course of the season. Given some proper training and time, he could be the next big thing in Anfield.
Maxi Rodriguez (75' off) - 5.5
Was so poor in the first half he had to resort to diving to trick the referee for a penalty. He sure doesn't look like a man who was supposedly brimming with confidence after his past few games.
Luis Suarez - 6
Was a lucky boy not to be sent off after his little kick out on Dawson.
Andrew Carroll (88' off) - 5
Had the best chance in the first half to level the scores as he had all the time in the world to at least keep his header on target. Could not effectively challenge the Tottenham defenders for the high balls.

Jonjo Shelvey (64' on) - 6
Almost made an immediate impact on the game but his shot flew marginally wide.
