“RUN THE WORLD (GIRLS)” VIDEO ———- It’s everything we hoped it would be - amazing! (Watch the 60-second “Run The World” teaser.)
The video starts and ends with Beyonce riding her horse. (A lion walks into one of the dance numbers and Beyonce has two giant hyenas on leashes in another scene.) The room went crazy during two parts of the song. The first was when Beyonce sings “eff you” and gives the middle finger (albeit pixelated with a censor). The second was when Beyonce is on her knees, bent backwards, and writhing around in the sand. It’s reminiscent of the sand dance sequence in her “Baby Boy” video
The dance sequences were choreographed by her longtime friend Frank Gatson with help from Sheryl Murakami and Mozambican kwaito dance group Tofo Tofo. Beyonce had scoured the Internet and discovered Tofo Tofo on YouTube. The funny thing is they had no idea who Beyonce was when she reached out to them! (Tofo Tofo gets down with Beyonce in a few of the dance numbers.)

OUR NOTES WHILE WATCHING THE “RUN THE WORLD (GIRLS) VIDEO
They say we are the first to watch the “Run The World (Girls)” video. (Her fans start to get excited) Video starts. Beyonce walks on, she’s on a car dancing about. (Fans are hyperventilating. LOL.) There is a Lion that walks up to her and she pets it. The dancing in the video is dope, she is going in. She moves her shoulders to the beat in a feather bolero. Beyonce sticks up her middle finger in the video but it’s blurred out. Actor Collins Pennie is co-starring in the video. Beyonce is kicking up dirt and dancing with her army of girls. Beyonce does some type of aerobatic move in the dirt; rolling around real expressively. Overall, the video was hot and adds to the song. (5/5)

Beyonce as Mentor on ‘American Idol’
Last Wednesday night, Beyonce acted as mentor for the Top 3 contestants on FOX’s American Idol. The singer served her opinions on each contestant as they each performed for her their personal song choice.
Beyonce even advised contestant Lauren to bring out her own Sasha Fierce by telling her, “… Before I go on the stage, I tell myself: you deserve it, I’m strong, I’m fearless, I’m a diva…,” while encouraging Lauren to do the same.
During the same show, a small snippet of Beyonce’s new music video for “Run the World (Girls)” was premiered. The video is now available at online and the song is ready for purchase on iTunes.
Beyonce Knowles’ “Run the World (Girls)” High Fashion Video Look By Look
Beyonce Knowles’ highly-anticipated music video for “Run the World (Girls)” made its debut last night in the US, and it was the fashion-packed extravaganza we were expecting.
Here is a rundown of her looks :-
She starts of wearing a red Alexander McQueen Fall 2010 dress with gold embroidered detailing which she paired with Alexander McQueen Grinling Gibbons gold heeled thigh-high boots from the same collection.
For a neck breaking dance routine Beyonce dons a black Norma Kamali fringed number with a golden harness and a black bustier. I loved the fringed Alexander Wang heels with this look.
Next we get a look at the gorgeous Givenchy Spring 2011 Couture gown I spotted from a very grainy photo in the desert.
As water bathes Beyonce she looks ready for war wearing a black Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2011 Couture black number with cut-out details and a tailcoat.
The golden girl stomps her way through the next scene wearing an ultra short Gareth Pugh Fall 2011 turtleneck dress which she teams with some pretty spectacular gold mirrored Gareth Pugh ankle boots whilst a car is in flames in the background.
Beyonce wore an Emilio Pucci Spring 2010 yellow gold embroidered dress as she kicks off an energetic routine with her crew. Sergio Rossi Gladiator boots with studs and feather details completed this look.
Next up was another Emilio Pucci gown, this time from the Fall 2011 collection. The green goddess long sleeve gown with a slash detail, thigh-high split and a sequined sleeve must have been glued to her as she’s really dancing hard during this scene.
