DNS not responding..?? Pemenda tu??

Ada sape2 terer pasal networking..??

Aku pakai Jaring Wireless kat rumah. Network aku kat rumah lebih kurang camni


Dari wireless modem masuk ke router (wired) pastu pecah ke items cam kat drawing atas tu. Minggu lepas aku langsung tak boleh masuk internet. Ingatkan setting PC1 dah lari tapi kat laptop pun sama. Lampu kat router tu under WAN kira normal. Yg kat connection PC & laptop dia kelip perlahan2. Bila aku check kat LAN connection kat setiap PC & laptop tertulis "DNS server isn't responding". Pemenda tu..??First time aku kena camni lagipun aku bukan tau sangat pasal networking ni.

Connection lain cam file sharing antara PC & laptop termasuk untuk print takde masalah. Problemnya tak boleh masuk internet. Kalau nak internet jugak harus bypass router maknanya dari modem terus masuk ke PC atau laptop. So hanya satu internet connection aje boleh dalam setiap masa. Aku dah call Jaring dan diorg kata router aku problem..??

Aku dah try reset router tapi the problem still persist...

Spec setiap items:

PC1 - Athlon X2 4200+ 2GB RAM + WinXP 64bit + Realtek NIC
Laptop 1 - Intel Core i3 + 1GB RAM + Win7 + Intel NIC
Laptop 2 - Core 2 Duo P8700 + 2GB RAM + Win7 + Intel NIC
Router - D-Link DI604 (zaman batu punya router )

Adakah router aku dah kong atau nak kong...??? Atau ada setting yg salah..??

Kalau hardware aku tau tapi bab network ni ada bodo2 sikit...

i think your router is still good. just config issue somewhere.

make sure the wireless modem is NOT also a router.

connect one of the computers directly to the modem and write down your isp dns ip addresses.

assuming you're using dynamic IP from your isp, on the router, for WAN, make sure it's set to obtain ip from your isp.

for LAN, make sure you have getaway setup properly (this is ip address for your router), dhcp is on and leave dns empty.

go to one of the computers, flush dns (ipconfig /flushdns) and reset ip address (ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew).

now, try get on the internet.

if doesn't work when dns empty, repeat the LAN process and enter your isp dns for dns settings.

    reset/restart router je ke?
modem tak reset/restart skali?

tak cuba tukar DNS lain?
atau call aje jaring helpline. tanya ape problem. mungkin DNS jaring yg problem.

DNS biasenye lebih kepada modem. So kena check modem la dulu. Bak kat OOBI wat direct connection ke modem tgk bleh internet ke tak. Kalo prob sama kuar gak, cuba reset/restart modem. Kalo x bleh try reset adapter kap laptop/pc. Kalo x bleh gak kena kol Jaring, maybe Jaring problem atau modem problem.

Nak tau kenapa..?? Sebab setting kat OS & browser dah lari. Anak buah aku yg pedajal. Tu pun lepas gertak baru dia ckp Dia ckp dia adjust kasik maksimum request, ping amenda ntah sebab dia percaya boleh lajukan lg file download lepas baca tweak yg org putih buat kat internet boleh dpt download smpi 500kbps..!! Agak2 la kan...Jaring Wireless 1Mbps aje pun lainlah Unifi ke hape..Apa la sengal..
