2013 TV Host Audition

Tourism NGO in Penang state, Association of Tourism Attractions, Penang (ATAP) is going to produce a series of tourism variety show covering up to 20 episodes this coming May. The variety show will showcase the tourism site of ATAP members.

Other than promoting the uniqueness and beauty of Penang, the tourism variety show as well provides an opportunity or platform for the talented youngster to unleash their hosting talents and skills.

ATAP is organizing an audition this 13th April, Saturday at 1st Avenue Penang to hunt for talented and suitable youngster to host the show.

The audition registration is FREE-OF-CHARGE and open to the public whom aged between 16 to 28 years old. Two winners of the audition will get the chance to co-host a series of the variety show. Other contestants will also get a chance to be chosen to
join the supporting cast members. The winners will undergo a series of hosting training provided by ATAP before the actual production kicks start.

In order to raise the bar to the international level, ATAP has proudly invited the famous former TV2 newscaster, Eefan Kong Yit Ying, and Moong Lun Yoong, whom was a Golden Award of NTV7 judge, to become the main judges of this audition. Moong is an experienced newscaster and popular of his news casting style in Malaysia.

These two experienced Malaysian newscaster have been scaffolding and training numerous talents to becoming a professional TV host.

The organizer has scheduled several performances from local artists. The artists include the champion and the runner-up winner of 2012 Astro Hua Hee Lai Ka La, Winli Lee and Jason Teong. Besides, Elton, a well-known 13 years old student who was invited to PK the contestant of Taiwan Million Star singing competition, is as well invited to perform in the audition.
