seagate external hardisk problem

assalamualaikum
Freeagent Go 320 GB - lights are on but the drive doesn't show up
Hi, I have a problem with my Freeagent Go 320 GB. When I plug it into the USB port, the lights are on but the the drive doesn't appear anywhere. . I also tried to get it to work on another computer and different ports but with no effect. Previously it worked fine but suddenly it failed to co-operate.
Obviously I'm concerned about the files I backed up on it - it's my priority now to do everything to get them back. I'm pretty sure they are OK, because the drive hasn't been damaged in any way and it seems to be spinning.Therefore got many important my file inside this stuff
If anyone could help me, I'd be most grateful. the numbers I found on my drive are: SN:2GE1LVS3 and PN:9KX2MG-500. |

aku pun ada masalah nak access external hdd aku. mula2 ingat sbb tak cukup power (laptop lama, pentium m) sbb lampu berkelip2 kejap ada kat My Computer kejap ilang, gitulah berulang2 sampai aku disconnect. bila masa bbrp sec appear kat My Computer tu bila aku klik kat drive F tu patutnya kluar new windows kan tapi tak kluar, terus lesap windows tu, bila right-click drive F pi properties, 0 byte takde menda.
lepas tu aku connect pulak ke satu lagi laptop yg aku pakai (core 2 duo), masih jugak takleh access data...tapi kali ni lain pulak, lampu nyala constant je tak kelip2 dah tapi langsung tak kluar kat My Computer, bila aku adjust2 cable dia suruh aku format, sesambil My Computer aku hang, sbb takleh access hdd tu, aku baca kemungkinan masalah thumbnail sbb dlm hdd tu mmg byk video files.
aku try tgk dlm partition magic, drive ada detect, semua fail pun ada dlm tu, tapi takleh access.
masalah apa sbnrnya ni? cable? connector? partition? master boot record? ke hapa? lama lagi tempoh warranty tapi aku mcm malas nak antar, nak tunggu depa check ntah brp lama... |
