1. trinitrotoluene -TNT
mix of 3 ikatan NO2 dengan toluence ...
- bersama2 ngan RDX menghasilkn Bhn letupan Composition B
- Satu kilogram TNT membawa tenaga pemusnahan sebanyak 4.184 × 106 J.
2. white phosphorus
-Dikenali "white powder"
- sgt berbahaya kerana ketidakstabilan tetrahydron P4 boleh menyebabkan pembakaran dan bertoksik
White phosphorus can cause injuries and even death in three ways: by burning deep into tissue, by being inhaled as a smoke, and by being ingested. Extensive exposure by burning and ingestion is fatal.
3. cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine - RDX
- Kekuatan letupan 1.5 kali TNT per unit kilogram
- Membawa letupan sebanyak 1.76 g/cm³ dengan kelajuan 8750 m/s.
- Bhn utama dlm pembuatan bom plastik C-1, C-2, C-3, C-4 (ade kaitan ngn politik negara)
4. trinitroglycerine (Nitroglycerin)- NG
-Kekuatan letupan hampir sama ngan RDX & PTEN.
-Digunakan dalam dynamite (selalu tgk citer kartun, diorg nak letupan satu tmpt, letak dynamite)
5. Gun Powder
-Dikenali "black powder"
- Campuran karbon, kalium nitrate dan sulfur
- Pembakaran gun powder menghasilkan letupan
- biasanya diletakkan ke dalam meriam dsb...zmn mat salleh berperang dulu guna yg ni ler...
- Persamaan: 10 KNO3 + 3 S + 8 C → 2 K2CO3 + 3 K2SO4 + 6 CO2 + 5 N2
5. Pentaerythritol tetranitrate- PETN
-daripada kumpulan nitrate
- Satu kilogram NG membawa tenaga pemusnahan sebanyak 5810 kJ/kg .
- satu kilogram cukup untuk memusnahkan satu kwsn tanah lapang yg besar.
6. Plutonium, Uranium, Radon
-dipanggil bom nuklear
-paling berbahaya berbanding senarai bom yg dinyatakan di atas
-pernah memusnahkan bandar Hiroshima, Nagasaki, dsb..
