4.25 meters long and 1.46 meters tall, making it slightly shorter and lowercompared to its predecessor.
It comes with a significantly sharper front-end design which was possiblethanks to lower engine mounting positions, while on the inside there's moreroom available than before and 470 liters of cargo.
140 kg (308 lbs) lighter than the outgoing model, and the most economicalversions have CO2 emissions of only 85 g/km.
On the outside it takes some design cues from the smaller 208, while on theinside it has received the "i-cockpit" philosophy with a similarsteering wheel / heads-up instrument cluster as seen in the 208. There's a tallcenter console boasting a large 9.7-inch touchscreen which replaces a greatnumber of the conventional buttons.
Production will take place in Sochaux, France and is expected to go on salein Europe this fall following a Frankfurt Motor Show debut in September
