charisma is the ability to influence people without opening your mouth.. merely by gestures, smiles or look.. thats the 'pure charisma' to me..
its like emitting positive energy to the crowd - kinda like subliminal message.. |

It seems to me that different time, different value system. Hence ppl get attracted by different qualities in another person. Once there was absolute monachy.....then there were other philosophies.........So how do we judge those times? |

once again, you can only find this kind of ideas in epistemology board.
Anywhere else, Jebat always get the vote....
So Jebat is a sheep who become disgruntled and dissatisfied. Tuah is another level altogether. |

That's a lot to think about.....
My thoughts, Tuah's character is a true satria of the time...complete submission/loyalty to his lord and master. Perhaps this was the "extra" tutelage he had gotten during his sojourn with his guru. Remember, amongst the 5, he was supposed to have received something extra? Elsewhere in the story, I couldn't figure out any other difference. While he did have some charecter flaw he could still make a good soldier of today.
Jebat, on the other hand was more of a revolutionary. Loyal he was to his buddy. He saw the injustice and was torn asunder. I do believe T.S. Lanang may have wanted to put forward an ideology ahead of it's time then.
Nevertheless, both have their appeal to different mind sets. Mind you, a charismatic person need not be a good person |

Talking about charisma ...
is it a bad thing or a good thing?
how much ones need to exert the charismatic effects on other s if she / he knew it?
becoz
this will highly related to this famour person by the named
RASPUTIN ? ring a bell somewhere? this guy really a blend or a product of talent, charisma and what not acting together....strong enough to influence Alexandra....
okay another lexicon for your thought - the son of Czar Nicholas - the "bleeder" Alexis Czarevitch ( son of Czar)
and rasputin was documented by the history as the one who could stop the diathesis period ( bleeding) in Alexis..so he's a kind of faith healer ... |

In my opinion, charisma is connected closely to confidence. I'd say the person with the most charisma is the person people would choose to lead them when everyone is silent. When somebody speaks, it's become politics.
In trainings that I have attended, we usually asked to choose a leader. In those situation where we barely know each other, we usually choose the person who looks confident. And tall (it's a scientific fact). Maybe it's something in these people that command respect. Once we get to know them better, it's a different story.
People with charisma tells lies brilliantly. It is vital in the survival of leaders. Bill Clinton lost it. However with excellent diversion he managed to stay in power.
Charisma is important for people to be noticed. You cant stay in people's sight with no charisma. No leader is with no charisma (read-confidence). However, to stay in power, they need sustain the support as their rivals also bring charisma to the table. |

for me myself, even you are outspoken, brave, rich and macho/pretty that will categorized you as a person who have a great charisma. i like to see something that required you to think and to find what is behind and its more to observing stuff. before i fall in love with my man, people said that he is not handsome, not suitable to be with, he so lazy, most reserved, he's wank , and he is just like a loser (perhaps he wouldnt get this statement!).
but im so eager to get to know him better. after be friends, i found he is someone who have a qualities as a man that i wanted to walk with. no need to bait hook with properties, or whatever women's fav.. good brain, excellent thinking, and know how to play psycho game..for me that is awesome!
No need to show that u are good with kinda branded stuff and looks great with big words, for me those are plastic!!
Just think how people get the expensive valuable pearl and gold..... |

karisma nie X factor kot...hardly to define but u know the aura is lingering |
|
|
|
|

yes their auras are lingering but then would a person with charming charisma really know that he / she is charming?
and i dunno though, just by the mentioning of the word charisma names like rasputin, as - shaari of al arqam, soekarno etc etc are suddenly pop up in my mind
yes those names are powerful as they belong to powerful people who have created history, same goes for Hang Tuah...
so tracing the history, could we say all of those history makers were all charismatic?
like winston Churchill, Adolf hitler etc ...?
how about the likes of al - Ghazali ? As syafie ?
Avicenna for that matter?
hmm? |

Sherlock Holmes is charismatic? yes..think so |
|
|
|
|
|
|

they could even refer to a fictional character?
hmm...then who owned that charisma the author or the character ? just thinking ... |
