Kitab vedas adalah dalam bahasa ("Bhasa" in Sanskrit) Sanskrit.
Batu bersurat di Ligor , Old Kedah, Kutai, Taruma etc. were in Sanskrit. Later stone inscription from Palembang etc. were in Old Malay with resemblences much like Sanskrit. Writings on the walls of older temples surrounding Siem Reap cambodia were also in Sanskrit. This just gave an indication that the literate Malays, Sunda and Mon-Khmers used Sanskrit.
Tamil on the other hand, even though they borrowed vocabs heavily from Sanskrit, always claim independent development and different language base from Sanskrit. Some claimed that Tamil is older or as old as Sanskrit.

What? Only one dynasty left after the Ming. It was the Qing
What dynasty? The Qing? Don't be confused. The Qing were an outsider, of Jurchen people that later became the Manchu people. They were admirers and adorers of Chinese texts and culture. Their leaders were people who love texts and adopted and introduced writing system to the nomadic Jurchen people.
The dynasty that burnt Chinese texts were the Qin and not the Qing. The Qin were way before the Ming by 1500 years. The Qin were internal Chinese people that united the Chinese of smaller clans states. They set-up a common system and burnt all other document for the purpose of standardization and solidarity under the Qin. The killing of opposition scholars and burning of diffencing texts were champion by the emperor Qin Shi Huang (Shih Huang Ti)
