Liverpool, Everton and Man United Keen on £10m Rated Swansea Star

On loan Swansea midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson could be on his way to Old Trafford this summer, with Sir Alex apparently interested in the winger. Liverpool and Everton also interested, Mirror Football reports. Gylfi Sigurdsson has been valued at £10million, as Liverpool, Everton and Manchester United all warm to the Icelander.

Swansea’s on-loan star has been outstanding since joining from German club Hoffenheim.

The Swansea midfielder has been in blistering form since his January loan move from German club Hoffenheim. And the former Reading player looks set for another season in the Premier League, with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Everton all keen on the player’s signature.

But the -Bundesliga outfit are now demanding a fee in the region of £10m for the attacking midfielder, who has blasted seven goals in 14 starts for the Swans.

Everton coach Jimmy Lumsden, United scout Martin Ferguson and Kop chief Kenny -Dalglish all watched Sigurdsson in action against Bolton on Saturday.

Swansea would ideally like to extend the former Iceland international’s loan for another year, however Hoffenheim- will know that now’s a good time to cash in with all the top clubs interested. It is likely that they German side will sell to the highest bidder this Summer, with reports in the region of £10m bid thought to be enough to temp the club into selling.

The loan deal has been controversial- with the German side, with their supporters still chanting Sigurdsson’s name every week. The club will know that only a major fee for the 22-year-old will take the heat out of the -decision.

Hoffenheim fans a factor in battle for Liverpool, Man Utd target Sigurdsson

Premier League clubs face a battle convincing Hoffenheim to sell Swansea City's on-loan winger Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Liverpool boss Kenny -Dalglish, Everton coach Jimmy Lumsden and United spy Martin Ferguson all watched Sigurdsson dazzle against Bolton on Saturday.

The loan deal has been controversial- with the German side’s supporters.

They still sing Sigurdsson’s name every week and only a major fee for the 22-year-old will take the heat out of the -decision.

That means the Premier League big hitters will have to get out their cheque books to make a move happen.

Liverpool have reportedly made a downpayment on Colombian striker Jackson Martinez, and will complete a deal for his signature during the summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old Jaguares forward is a potent goalscoring threat, and has found the net on 101 occasions in 155 career appearances for clubs and country.

Martinez has been frequently linked with a move to Anfield in recent months and, last week, he confirmed that Liverpool were interested in acquiring his services, along with Portuguese champions Porto.

"I'm not in negotiations with Liverpool or Porto but both clubs have a personal interest in me," Martinez told Nuevo Estadio.

"I have not spoken to anyone as everything must go through the club or my agent. But in the next few months things should be finalised."

It has now been claimed that Liverpool have made an official approach for the Colombian, and have already gone so far as paying a third of his transfer valuation before finalising the agreement in the summer.

According to LigaPostobon.com.co, the official website of the Colombian football league, Jaguares have received $3 million from Liverpool, and stand to earn a further $6 million from his sale.

The acquisition of goalscoring reinforcements is imperative for Kenny Dalglish this summer, and bringing Martinez to Anfield will go some way to solving Liverpool's problems up front.

LFC >> Barcelona.

LFC = 1 English Cup, 1 FA Cup (next)

Barcelona = lose CL, miss La Liga.
