AIM-ing to thrill

Prelude Kemuncak AIM14 will showcase an array of popular local artistes belting out hits.

Returning for the second year, Prelude Kemuncak AIM14 will be packed with popular local artistes this time around.

The show that was introduced last year will be aired live from Studio 2, Ntv7 at 8.30pm starting today.

This year抯 format is slightly different but it still retains the concept of featuring three artistes (two solo and one group) in every episode. Each act sings two songs.

They are accompanied by six musicians led by Acis. Additionally, Prelude Kemuncak AIM14 also features flashbacks of the music scene from 1999 until today.

The artistes are selected based on their nominations and contributions towards Anugerah Industri Muzik over the past 14 years, irrespective of whether or not they won any awards.

揕ast year, the show was aired live weekly from the Hard Rock Caf
