I prefer keeping old school friends

Why???

Well, the reason are below:-

1. We have history together
2. We grew up(daily) with each other
3. We hung out for almost 11 years(give or take)(Primary-Secondary school)
4. Like a second family

New friends are nice, but old friends are way better

Okay, first of all you have to set standards for yourself for everything in life(why am I saying this?? Coz then only you will have people of standard also in your life). The list below is a mixed list. It has Rules & Standards for friends & their actions is the test that your putting them in without them knowing it.

1. Make sure they keep their promises(if they say they are gonna do something, make sure they do it)
2. Do some background check on them(always have some dirt on friends so that you can use it on them when they start to show their true colors & also have evidence of such things, they do come in extremely handy)
3. See if they are lying(how to check, with their friends' family/etc)(Never have liars as friends)
4. Make sure they are on Time (people who do not respect your time, do not have respect for you, whatever the excuse maybe also real friends are always on time & never keep their friends waiting)
5. Have honest friends(whatever they say must be the same & not change from one story to another just to gain pity, sympathy,etc)
6. Once a friends starts to ask for money, cut them off immediately.
7. Know where your friend stays or know the family members(in case of future problems with you & them)
8. Rely on your Gut Instincts(Very Important)
9. Do not keep friends who talk about their other friends/relatives/family/etc(whats the guarantee that they are not talking about you behind your back??)
10. Most importantly, see if your friends are geniuine or not, how to do this??? Say a lie(make it sound realistic & make it involve you, say you have a Disease, Money Problems, etc) & see if they stick around to offer help or run away. If they run away then don't keep them.
11. Make a list of people who have been there for you in your whole life(through thick or thin), them cut the ones who have never been there through your hard times
12. Clean your Facebook friends list(keep the important ones only & block the unimportant ones)

by the way....when i went through with your listing and use the list...............i ends up with not more than 5 friends...huhuhu...or worst case senario..it could be less than that.....

being a dumbo....ouwhh..it's does hurt........anyway thanks for your advice....btw I already cut off some of my friends actually...it is better than having them around me.....as they are always cause me headache....

Btw, I so used to have more than 100++ friends but now it's all down to give or take, more or less than 10 people in my life which I keep in contact with

I understand...most of the times, the truth can be hurt...that's why many people use it as justification to tell others bunch of lies....huhuhu..

in my last experience, friends always involve with money issues....usually, they stick around you just because of money...not because of who you are...so your motto is right page...less friends simply mean less problems...

ha'ah..dulu aku penah masuk GLC lepas resign gomen...dia nie kira bos tapi lain department...tapi ada jugak kerja sama...bila aku resign and join private sektor, dia maintain..

bukan her yer..yang pinjam2 duit aku nie (bekas bos 2 org yang suka pinjam) semua lelaki

sebab org yang meminjam pun baik budi pada aku...

cuma kadang2 bila aku takder duit (selalunya aku tetapkan certain amount dalam akaun, kalo dah kurang dari amount tu aku rasa kira mcm kes kecemasan la..ala2 ultraman yang nak kehabisan power), aku pasti terkesal..aduh apalah bagi pinjam kat org...

so aku kadang2 tersepit..niat awalnya mm nak tlg..tapi bila diri tak berduit dah rasa mcm kesal pulak..
