Alhamdulillah...doa dah makbul - akhirnya kena 3 months jail term. okla than mere fine.  
Kepada Shahrul Azuwan Adanan and Yushairi Khairuddin - belajarlah insaf kat dalam sana nun.
Jail term on Petknode owners lauded

PETALING JAYA: The High Court's decision to impose a three-month jail sentence on the owners of animal care centre Petknode for neglect will serve as a deterrence to future offenders, said animal rights groups.
Lauding the jail term, the groups said the punishment better reflected the severity of the offences committed by Petknode owners Shahrul Azuwan Adanan and Yushairi Khairuddin.
“We are happy that the Veterinary Services Department appealed against the initial court decision of a mere fine,” said Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better rescue coordinator Irene Low.
“We hope the department will continue to help animal welfare and rescue groups bring animal abusers to justice,” she said.
Last Thursday, the Shah Alam High Court imposed a three-month jail sentence on Shahrul Azuwan and Yushairi for each of their 30 counts of animal neglect. The sentences are to run concurrently.
Retaining the RM6,000 fine imposed by the Petaling Jaya magistrate's court on June 28 after both men pleaded guilty to all counts, High Court judge Datuk Abdul Rahman was quoted in the Attorney-General's Chambers portal as saying that the lower court had erred in its “intepretation of the Animal Act” when making its decision.
Both men had been charged under Section 44 (1) (d) of the Animal Act.
Stray Cats Rescue and Treatment Community Help (Scratch) founder Suzana Sulaiman said it was at the moment satisfied with the sentence.
“Many of the pet owners involved have been fighting for justice for almost a year now,” she said, adding that she hoped future laws, such as the proposed Animal Welfare Bill, would provide stricter punishment.
A pet owner, who only wanted to be known as Sabera, said she had been frustrated with the earlier judgment of a mere fine.
“Although some of my friends still think that three months in jail is not enough, I think it is a good start,” said Sabera, whose cats were among those rescued during a police raid on Petknode.
Volunteers and police were forced to break into the centre to rescue about 30 cats during the Hari Raya holidays last year while eight other animals died.

huhuhu..sangat extreme. kalau ada animal lover dalam tu suruh buat cakaran rimau sekali kat muka dua ekor ni. baru ingat dosa diorang kat kucing2 tu sampai mati. |

Nak bantu macam mane? nanti kene saman lak....aku sendiri tank sanggup nak biarkan binatang2 kelaparan macam ni. Tempat tak ada, kalau ada dah lama aku bukak dan jaga....Arnab aku dari 2 ekor dah jadi 16 ekor..termasuk yang datang serah diri..nak kata aku jual tak ader la.....tak sanggup aku temgok orag sembelih dah biarkan.....

bagi pengalaman kak dandan, biasa org kita mula2 bisnes ok jer, bila dah hisap, bisnes jagi gini la  dpt duit jer terus hilang, nak gi beli mende yg buat dia addicted tu, pastu cabut dan lepak ke kampung lain |

teringat pasal diorang ni masa semua org tgh cari mereka...boleh plak mereka makan mekdi dengan selambernya tanpa rasa bersalah...
3 bulan tu sekejap ajer...silap silap mereka x kena pun hukuman tu... mereka masih boleh merayu selepas ni..

These 2 deserve 2 yrs or more jail time lah
pastu campur dgn denda sampai puluh ribu riban...
tak padan dengan perbuatan.
but for now 3 months ok lah kot
daripada takde jail time langsung
